  1. Very telling. The 'Canes asked for Marner. That would have been the best possible deal. Marner has said in the past, he had no problem going to Carolina, so maybe after the season, the Hurricanes can convince him, with a contract he'll sign, seeing as they will have a boatload of cap space.

  2. Wow, these guy are the worst in the business, boring, boring, boring. Their whole crew is absolutely the worst. I turn the channel every game between periods and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Time to fire all of them!!!

  3. Hall of fame cheap shot artist on the back end of his career. Now he can lick all his old buddies faces when they meet upπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. I could not care less how many hours Eliotte or any "journalist" slept this or that night. You are not the story, nobody cares

  5. They bend for a crap goalie, but not the Captain. Firings in management better be coming in the off season.

  6. WHY do they just keep floating rumors out there? Just wait until a deal is done, then report it!

  7. i cant wait to see Tkachuk, Bennett and Marchand in action 🀣🀣🀣🀣 especially in playoffs, they will be insufferable

  8. Marchand wanting to stay in Boston is a failure of Bruin management. He took a team-friendly deal for much of his last 8 year deal. With a rebuilding team they had the money to take care of someone who did everything for that organization, with everything that he had. Bruins should have taken care of him even tho his request may have been higher than he may now be worth ON the ice. His value is even more off it while the team transitions. Losing 3 captains in an approx 5 year period is not how you do it.

  9. This is similar to Tampa letting Stamkos walk. It’s honestly embarrassing that you couldn’t find a way to secure your captain.

  10. So, Marner had an opportunity to join the Hurricanes for the playoffs and he said β€œno”.
