I’m pretty much done with this team. Last year was an anomaly … this team has been middling if not bad for years … the Aquilini’s are horrible owners and the Canucks will never win a cup with them in charge. Different year same old bullshit.
No one was willing to trade anything decent for a head case like Petey, and no one was willing trade for Boeser without the Canucks retaining a significant amount of his cap.

When Quinn Hughes leaves because this team has no solid direction, don't be surprised Canucks fans. Don't be mad at him either. This ownership group has been the cancer the entire time, from the outset when Aquilini slimed his way into purchasing the team under Galiardi's nose. Watched nearly every game since I was like 10 years old but this season has been the most exhausting, frustrating one BY FAR. Whatever team Quinn signs with, I am going to cheer for.
I love how Alvin ignited a flamethrower of insults towards Brock and the rest of the team by saying the the league doesn't value them. He was very persistent in the number of times he laid that down. It was an obvious attempt to get the team fired up. I am very interested to see how that might effect their play tonight and moving forward. Especially Brock.

We’ve got a tonne of cap space going into the summer. We’ve got all our picks and a few extra. They had to keep Suter with no depth at centre. They’ve got a shot at the playoffs. Let’s get a ticket to the dance and see if we can take home a model?
Aqulini would rather have the revenue from 2 playoff games than a serious cup contender. It's blatantly obvious now.
Just watching the Canucks Wild game and they have quoted Patrick Allvin as saying "you would't believe the offers for Brock Boeser". I'm assuming they weren't very good at all. Nobody wanted him, as he's an older player "whose wheels are going" to quote the great Doug Mclean. He's 28 and his best days are past him. So are EP40 Elias Petterson, but the Canucks have to keep pumping out the BS media that "he's going to turn it around." More yadda yadda as usual. It's tough being a Canucks fan and knowing we're looking at a few more years of this same-old stuff.
