Well think about it, last time we were in the playoffs was with Mrazek and not sure why Howard the 5 hole duck never got traded and we kept Mrazek. Sure he blew in Chicago and Toronto, he played well in Philly for a short stint and was on fire for Hurricanes. I agree about Smith, not sure why we needed that guy, i figured we would aim for a D man.

The cost for Redwing anything is ridiculous and the fans deserve better,franchises don't give a shit until the money drys up. In this town the money won't dry up because people are stupid, love to over pay to watch a bad defense and back up goalies give up easy shots two to three times a night. More than half the team are bums, they are not fun to watch at all and what the fuck is the point of dump and chase if you can't retain any kind of offensive zone pressure. Look at Rasmussen for Example the dude is huge but gets bumped of the puck fairly easy and also gets hurt way too much. The defensive zone turn overs are horrific but then again the goalies aren't stopping beach balls at this point. The last 6 games you seen the team that got uncle Fester canned, the Todd father started juggling lines and it killed any mojo left in the tank. I now yield my remaining time to the next pissed off, fed up,frustrated, let down fan.
The scuttlebutt on the trade was Yzerman asked the Hawks GM Davidson if he needed to throw in a 2nd rounder to make the Mrazek trade happen. Out of pity, Davidson told Stevie not to worry about it
Are we actually going to have to wait another season until yzerman is fired ? Second round draft picks aren’t hitting the wahlman trade, no moves in the off season and now another mediocre season.
