New Top Line Leads Nashville Predators to Win Over Bruins, Stamkos Ends Scoring Drought

After disappointing performances this weekend on the road, the Nashville Predators faced off against David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins who are still battling for a postseason chance in the Eastern Conference. On today’s show we recap the Predators 6-3 road win including our “one word” to describe the game. We focus on a scrambled line up that yielded productive results. The top line of Luke Evangelista, Ryan O’Reilly, and Steven Stamkos combined for eight points, and we share what made the trio so successful together. Mark Jankowski returned to the line up, and we give an update on another injured Predator who could be back on the ice soon as well. Finally, we discuss the Boston goal that encapsulates one of the biggest defensive issues Nashville has struggled with all season.

  1. Good one ladies, have to agree on Luke, I'm a big fan of him…and I do think he's top 6 line winger–the issue is a mess of a season but yes stay on the line with Stamkos and ROR. In this mess of a season, Luke is a young guy and I'm not in the camp of giving up on him quite yet. Dude is 23, so it's not like the story of his career has been written here yet. Have to point out Svechcov playing pretty well here in stretches too. Crap, now I'm pulled back in for hope here lol. We'll see what happens against Seattle on Thursday night.

  2. Lightning fan here, GO Stammer, so happy for you and your team! Time to show the league who the Preds really are!!

  3. I apologize for failing in my “one word” duties last night. I’m so conflicted! I never want the Preds to lose, but I really want a top 3 pick so bad! Agony! 😵‍💫🤣😭

  4. Ladies, nice to see you so happy, actually having smth cool to report about. Man, I feel I have taken some punches lately.
Especially the first 2 periods of the Rangers game hurt. I gulped up some ugly comments after game also, didnt look pretty but better get the dirt out
and get rid of it. Great that pretty much the complete core contributed here, if Barry wants to run another season with this crew there is no better
place to generate some chemistry than during actual game play even though season's gone

  5. The Preds seem to thrive against slower teams. Faster teams to disrupt their offense and lead to turnovers. Want to see more of what they did in this game
