  1. He showed some confidence in his team and that’s a big move, this summer will be hot because we need to find someone for Demigod

  2. A bit disappointed that we didn't land Couzens. I would have given up mailloux, Roy and a first. Offering Josh Norris is hard to beat. I accept the fact the habs are not going to make the playoffs this year. I'm looking forward to the summer where we get a good second line center and part ways with Armia and Dvorak. We desperately need some new blood.

  3. Sometimes the best trades are ones that are not made at all. Any trades within the month or so of trade deadline are going to be the most expensive. Surprised that Guhle is skating again already. Guessing the laceration wasn't as deep as possibly thought. Cozens was effectively traded for Norris who had a similar enough contract (and both their contracts expire the same year).

  4. Montreal still needs 2 players.
A sparky talented enthusiastic forward who will give it all every shift like Josh
And a solid right handed , stable, headsy defenseman with size like Jessy
    Go Habs Go ❤

  5. I dont't think doing nothing is rewarding his players, showing respect for their efforts should have been getting the 2nd line center they needed… again you see the press licking his boots when he obviously miss the boat on this one… pathetic…

  6. Exactly as I hoped. Still missing the 2C and RH D they were looking for but the vibe is vibin' and the fact this team is staying intact means a lot to the player group going into the stretch. It'd be a fantastic bonus if Guhle could make it back into the lineup at some stage. I agree Hughes didn't need to make a panic move and is playing the long game. Hoping for a few more points on this western swing. Deffo a 'B grade'. Thanks guys.

  7. Im glad that te habs stick to their guns and not trade or pick up a new player the Canadians are still a young team and they may need some time just playing together go habs go

  8. We are all making statements on the outcome… We don't know what was offered to us, what we offered.
I wanted to see some moves, but we don't know what was turned down.

  9. Jake was wise to take 1 million cut to stay in a known place then to adventure in unknown territories. Wise decision. Noorul

  10. Coaching staff also asked Hughes and Gorton not to change the team till the offseason also did you get his point on Dach! Not giving up on him yet being their 2nd line center!

  11. I remember you guys saying something big is coming for a month !!!! You guy’s where right , paper contracts allowing Dobes and Beck to play in Laval !! Congrats you where right !!!! Hahahahaha…

  12. stop coping we had probably the least eventful deadline in years, we needed a 2c and kent hasnt been doing shit, that interview kent did was useless back to vacation mode for kent. fuck the habs.

  13. We are in great hands as long as Kent Hughes is running the show I love this team and where the future is going Ivan Demidov next year 🙌🏾 what a time to be a Habs fan

  14. The players he talked about probably would come alittle cheaper this summer too. Better to wait sometimes. No sense in rushing.. it's still a rebuild. Don't take shortcuts..

  15. kent hughes couldn’t move armia, devorak & especially savard, for the only reason is that nobody in the league wants them bums …. does anyone watch or understand how bad they r and for so long???? we better not resign them for the minimum.. they would all take minor league money to stay..

  16. Kent did well! Not worth picking up 4th and 5th to disturb the current chemistry. Have a funny feeling Armia or DVO will be back next year at a better cap hit.

  17. Dude, I can’t imagine what would happen to you if Montreal won a couple rounds in the playoffs. I think your head would explode. You’re a little bit too much excitable bud….. breathe in breathe out…

  18. I agree, but you are still going to pay a high price for some of these good players. Having said that, I look forward to what Kent Hughes has up his sleeve for this summer… guess I am just being impatient. I will relax (LOL). I really want a Canadian team (preferably the HABS) to bring Lord Stanleys Cup BACK to Canada where it belongs. Great show again guys. GO HABS GO !!!!

  19. His statement is utter nonsense. We don't have a center on the second line. Patrick Lainey is so slow on the ice that I believe he is still injured. It will take another year for Slafkowski to finally start looking like an NHL player. At some points I believe he doesn't even know where he is. He is incredibly lazy in many games. We can't expect AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN that Suzuki and Cole take us to the playoffs. By doing nothing, GM practically eliminated us from the race.
