  1. Stan, the addition of Max Jones, Cam Dineen were a noticeable improvement in last nights performance.

Trent Frederic and Jake Walman are also exactly what the Oil need to make them a great team. Congratulations on these additions. Jeff Skinner's skills will shine with these players.

  2. A couple additions that seem like a very good fit. Max Jones played awesome last night! Cant blame losses all on goaltending with the amount of penalties and the amount of give aways that the team has been dealing with

  3. Should have never hired this GM. What else is he gonna say in this interview. Mc David won’t be resigning due to his failure at the deadline.

  4. Good luck getting through Colorado and Dallas. And Florida. If the oilers had roloson or a bobrovsky or a hellybuck we would be back to back champions going for a hat trick. Instead , skinner will most likely need to "find his game" for a third playoff in a row. Ridiculous. The oilers have absolutely blown their chance at a Stanley cup

  5. People forget this is a GM that won a cup, let’s let bowman cook – he knows a whole lot more than we do. I like the additions – I’m sure he was hoping for a top 6 forward as well, but that isn’t bowman’s fault Jackson was handing out NMC’s like candy during the summer.

  6. Strong sense of overall agreement on Bowman"s big picture decisions and thinking on group , individual and structure strategy .
    – now need to hone goalie coaching practices and skill building . Dustin might not be flexible and skilled enough , perhaps some help for him.
    – defense blue line drill practices and bad habit removal efforts . stay out of line of sight and out of crease .
    – forward , winger passing , shot targeting skill increases . flexibility scoring strategies become unpredictable to opposing teams.
    – hone line change better timing and planning routines . reduce giveaways on change overs.
    – penalty kill, keeping tight box formation practices .

  7. Just watch, we’ll be right back to the topic of goaltending after the season however we are eliminated… does anyone feel like they can hang in the west conference after some of the adds other teams made?

  8. Good Trades With 😛 Max Jones Was Awesome Last Night Great ( New ) Energy
🙌💪🙌To Get His Old Team Mate Bouchard Going as He Got🏒🥅 That OT Winner!!!
Our OILERS💙🧡🤍 Were Looking Much Better Last Night At That Intense Home Game!!! Goooo Draisaitl You Deserve as Will Get The MVP🏆
    Now Cup Run 🙏2025

  9. You absolutely failed by not getting rid of Bouchard, a pylon defends better and at least doesn’t shove the puck back to the other team!!!!!

  10. We needed a defensively strong RD and a good R shot C. We got neither. This team will never make it out if the first round. For everyone lauding the GM here, remember today when McDavid signs somewhere else in 2026 and the team is miserable for another 10 years.

  11. Great additions. With Frederick and Kane in the lineup, this team will be a much different team. Who cares about shiny new toys they hardly ever pan out.

  12. I thought the moves were very well played and tactical. Just need current players to step up and play like they are actually capable. Bouchards blunders are really hard to ignore. Skinners netminding has been off for 2025 and McDavid himself seems to be struggling. But there's so many that can step up and make the difference….. and aren't

  13. Good decision not to shake things up in the locker room, but Pleeeeease sir replace the Goalie coach! Obviously the guy we have had for the last decade isn’t working!

  14. I dont have any problems with bowmans management at this point. Jeff Jackson wanted to play GM for a few weeks and completely cooked us for the deadline. I hope hes held accountable for it if we dont make another final

  15. early exit coming up this year. its no coincidence we have a stacked team on paper and why they cant find success. many of these players will move and once again be top players. this all comes down to the goaltending. these players need to play a certain way to not allow any shots on skinner and finally we are in a season that every single player besides leon is totally burned out from playing this way. it takes so much out of the players to play that game every night in and night out. when 95% of the team is burned out from playing "their game" at once, this team has no success and its been that way as of late. imagine removing much of that energy and focus from bailing the goalie out to where they can go out and play free and play their own individual game within the team structure. maybe the team would lived up to how stacked on paper it is.

  16. Wonder if the Oilers had discussions about Boston's Carlo before deciding on Walman? To sure up the back end, Ekholm-Carlo, Nurse-Kulak, Walman-Bouchard. Would go a long way in instilling confidence for me personally.

  17. So not impressed!!!! I can rant all day. Won't do much good. He just punched our ticket. Early playoff fall this year. We don't have the guys between the posts that can stand up with the team at hand. Goaltending is way to weak for this level of play!!!! What a stupid gamble.
Saaweeeee!!! Last year was a fluke!! That won't happen again!!!🤨

  18. Goaltending has been an issue for the last decade or more. Look at the last 10 Stanley cup winners. They all show they have a top 10 goalie. Sorry Stan but you must go.
