As a Sharks fan, I was feeling pretty good about our trade deadline work, until this. Zetterlund is only 25 years old and I saw him as part of the rebuild. Grier must feel that SJ needs both Schafer AND McKenna in order to compete.
This one is a bit of a mystery to me.
As a sharks fan this trade is just bad for Mike Grier. I know Zetterlund wanted a big raise and the sharks can lose with anyone but I find it hard to believe another team would not offer more. Why give the sens a 4th rounder also?
From the Sens POV they traded just a 2nd for Zetterlund and a 4th. The other 2 guys the sens gave do not even matter either way.
