We going to just run 3 goalies even though we are running out of Forwards?
Man I’ve been a red wings fan since 2001 but this is getting ridiculous. It’s just bad trade after bad trade and bad prospect picks. Feels hopeless.
No one expected this… but the wheels did fall off. Talbot and Lyon are both tired, I guess is the best way to put it? Mrazek and Talbot under contract through next year means we could move on from Lyon in the offseason as well. I don't care about Craig Smith. Veleno didn't make the most of his chances, so… maybe he finds his groove next to Bedard?
I said if Steve did nothing which he did ,he had no faith in the team this year !nice while it lasted
It's not bizarre, Steve traded Wallman and threw in a 2nd round pick….for nothing. Oh well, next year, right?!? Not likely , 20 year rebuild 😂
Stevie has lost it. It’s time to move on. I literally cannot think of one good trade he has made. Only positive I could say is he has drafted decently, but that’s it.
Joe Veleno has been a non-entity for the Wings this year. He hasn't contributed in any meaningful way since joining the roster. I'm not at all upset about getting Mrazek back. He's been a decent goalie throughout his career. People complaining about Stevie not getting a defenseman, need to ask themselves how much the other teams would've wanted from us for those defenseman. Now, as far as defenseman go, I would not be upset about seeing the backs of Holl and Chiarot. Neither has impressed me, and both can be major liabilities in our own end.
This season feels incredibly cooked. Crazy what a difference one week makes
Feels like a bad trade, just like walhman
Now that I’m watching the trade day recap , Steve obviously had no faith there are a lot of players that moved that would have helped in a big way ! It’s a shame for as hard as they tried from December in the end it made no Difference to Steve ! That what I call loosing the team !
What he'll is going with Red Wings has Stevie lost his mind two old veterans can't believe wow
So a young 4th Line Center for an old 4th Line Center and overpaid Backup. Don’t expect to make playoffs this year. Unless we get news drop of a Bowen Bryan trade pickup, then I think Stevie has until next year to make playoffs or be let go. Great Drafting, but bad long free agent signings and bad trades. Sadly losing faith in the Yzerplan.
the whyzerman plan 😂
this guy traded husso and needed to replenish his bum goalie pool, what a terrible gm lol
Can’t really blame him if you know hockey you know we were not good enough to do anything in the playoffs no point of buying wait till next year a full Season with the new coach and Joe veleno is not a make or break to the team you can argue he’s been pretty underwhelming this season I like the move
Almost as bad as the Wallman trade ?? So Stevie has to explain this,, or find a new job,, I have been a Wing fan since the 50's,,met Mr. Howe in 58 and got his game stick,,which I still have,,,though I will not burn the stick,,,if I could throw my jersey on the ice I would !!! Really a sad day once again…
Veleno has been a pretty useless first round pick another ken Holland bad pick
Why didn’t they just expand Alex lyons contract instead of getting another goalie
Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. Yzerman has no courage. He's coasting .. milking the franchise dry until he's ready to retire. Admit it Steve .. you are in over your head. Just resign and let a new regime come in. Someone who is not going to be stagnant.
I'm over the Izerplan. Give me a f–ing break… The team is not better with these trades.. Had 13 million to use. Don't se wings making the playoffs and if they do they'll get blown out in first round. Frustrating to say the least !!!!!😊
