Trade Deadline wish lists for all seven Canadian teams
All seven Canadian NHL teams have their priorities with less than 24 hours remaining before the trade deadline and TSN Hockey analyst Jamie McLennan offers his opinion on what the wish list is for each club.
Instead of continuing the never ending search for someone to play with Morgan Riley, put him on the LW – if he doesn't like it – tell him he's never seeing the blue line again in Toronto – ask him to waive his No Movement Clause

Jets need a 2C Nelson,Schenn,ORielly Don't need but could get a Parayko/Pulock,Sanheim. And 100% move out stanley/heinola and a 5th dman like Savard,Dumoulin or LukeSchenn.
Wishful thinking for the sens: we need a goal scorer to put the puck in the neck when he gets the feed from Timmy. Whether it’s an elite goal scorer like Boeser or Rantanen or just a middle 6 guy who can put it in the back of the net like Donato, that’s would be my priority. A depth defenseman won’t help team defense. The boys just need to wake up and defend
The oilers need a goaltender. If they win the cup, I will apologize to Mr. Skinner and Mr. Pickard but right now there is only one playoff team below the oilers in team Gsax, which is the Avalanche because of their horrible goaltending at the beginning of the season, which they fixed. I keep hearing people say that there isn’t an immediate upgrade on the market but isn’t Gibson willing to move his no-trade? Pickard and Skinner are 79th and 71st in Gsax, Gibson is 10th, on a mid ducks team. How is that not an immediate upgrade?
I don’t understand why everyone keeps saying the leafs need a d man. Sure we could definitely use one, but it’s not near as high a priority as getting a proper 3c.
The desperation never ends in the city of Toronto when it comes to their hockey team – analogy – the Leafs haven't been layed in almost 60 years … they have at the MOST gotten to second base a few times, bread crumbed into a desperate fan base. Every off-season, a few months later, every trade deadline, this city wants massive trades of highly paid big name players then brag how they winning the cup, only to NEED more massive big name players a months later when they come waaaay short of their "expert" evaluations – its how the fanbase and media believe winning is accomplished in sports with that city. Truth is their two main leaders (Tavs, and Matthews) are heartless, soft as twinkie fillings who fold during the big games, and have never won nothing! If the Leafs want to win, its up to those two! BUT Leafs fans won't admit to this, bc Matthews and Tavs keep them in mediocracy – so the search for the next big star to join them bc their big stars fail … is on!
