  1. I am confident that this inept and timid Leafs management will lack the creativity to execute any significant trades aimed at acquiring top players to enhance the team. I guarantee they will only pursue aging, third-line forwards and seventh defensemen. Shame on them. Shanahan, who initiated this mess the day he hired Dubas, should be fired.

  2. Tampa traded 3 first round pics AFTER they won the cup and have won nothing since. Just because you keep putting all chips in doesn't mean you're going to cash in. Brisbois is just playing roulette.

  3. At this point, Mikko’s value has decreased significantly because he’s starting to look like this year’s version of Elias Lindholm which is not a compliment. He will be lucky if a team pays him 10 million. He looks average without Nate and Makar

  4. Although the Carolina Hurricanes are a well-built team and have a chance to compete for the Stanley Cup in the rest of the season, their style of play doesn't suit Mikko Rantanen. The chemistry doesn't match. The best team to go to would be the Dallas Stars or the New York Rangers. I would lean towards Dallas. The Los Angeles Kings are facing a generational change and another rebuilding phase as Kopitar and Kempe retire to another league to play in Europe or elsewhere before ending their careers.
