We will be fine the rest of the regular season without Miro. We’re good. Look at what we’ve done without him. I’d give up Borque and our 3rd pick this year for Raantanen. He’s worth the price. The cup is worth the price. Miko is way more valuable than borque. For sure. I’d give up Borque, but not Stanky

Honestly, the best thing that has happened for the Stars is Miro's injury…it has forced them into seeing what other guys can do. It has helped them get stronger on defense all around. Ill take Mikko for either Borque or Stanky…I have long believed that the stars have lacked a "killer" instinct style goal scorer. Mikko can be that guy for us.

I feel like we might be in for a trap game tonight. With the history these two teams have against one another. They’re scratching and clawing to stay alive. Dallas is in a pretty good spot so they may not be as urgent as the flames to start the game. Are they as good as us? No, clearly. But Dallas has been on a good run lately and maybe they feel like they may not need the two points as much? Idk. We go up and down. We’ve seen that this year. So should we win? Yeah. Will we win? Remains to be seen. I could be wrong but I think it’ll be closer than what we would like it to be.

Give Borque to Kings for Rantanen $ and trade Dumba for Gavrikov? Would that be possible?
The trade to Carolina has only shown what many likely believed. It’s McKinnon, not Rantanen.
Recency bias also doesn’t favor Rantanen.
And if you’re Carolina would you prefer two months of Rantanen or Mav/Stank?
The Stars don’t need a massive upgrade. They need a solid defender who can fill in and prevent having to play the pairing of Smith/Dumba.
I’ll love Rantanen as long as he agrees to an extension with us. I think Borque is too steep a price for a rental. Just my opinion though

The Stars don't need a Rantanen. He would cost way too much and they have great chemistry right now. Just add one or two more support pieces on the blue line to hold the fort until Miro and Tyler get back and this team is set for a deep run.
Id trade stankoven for rant but not happily. I think bourque will turn into a johnston 2.0 and we are seeing it lately now that he is up to NHL speed. Its his first year. Stank had last year to adjust and yet i think bourque looks better right now. Bourque gives me Jonathan Toews light vibes.
