I'm quite sure Jackson never envisioned Ardvisson and Skinner being a complete bust. That's on the coach and Knobber's decision making behnnd the bench. Knob has really tanked his fans approval with these Skinner scratchings. Theyre struggling to score goals, especially 5v5, and they bench the 3rd best scorer (only behind Draisaitl and McDavid) 5v5 over and over again.
Too many players being used as seat warmers, time to nail down the lines and get some chemistry going. Do whatsoever is right for the long haul, not this off the cuff bs after each lost.
Ryan Reaves just put on waivers, Oilers need to pick him up to add to the new Frederic, Kane, Reaves bruiser line. If we can't get Klim Shadey…get Reaves!!

Not sure who's really benching Jeff Skinner, but if he'd been given the chance to gel by playing him every game, the guy would be a big contributor. Look at some of the other forwards, and some of the defense, actually causing the team to lose by turning over the puck or flubbing passes and shots.
