If you have an opportunity to trade Kadri for any reasonable value, even a second round pick, I think you need to consider. Dreaming – Kadri for Lian Bichsel (Dallas)? Kadri for Calum Ritchie (Colorado)? Kadri for Easton Cowan (Toronto)? Throw in whatever picks and salary retention for each.
They should, but they won't. The mentality of "let's JUST make or miss the playoffs every year and see what happens" infects every level of this organisation and won't change until this ownership group sells. Conroy is a great GM but his hands are tied.

He’s not a fit in the forecasting roster. It’s going to hurt the team keeping him. Seth Jones 1st rd/ borkstrand & Gourde fetched 2 1st rd picks. These teams are willing to overpay right now. Take advantage and stop being delusional. Flames timeline is different than most of these teams. Calum Ritchie can play next year and eventually play top 6 center mins.

Why are you selling when in your in a playoff. Yea the offence needs to be better and they need get someone tommorrow. But if you remember 2 years where the islanders offence was absolute crap and they still made the playoffs Washington was terrible last year and they still made the playoffs. It just doesn’t make any sense to sell at this point when it’s such a tight race and then if you wanna move on from Karri in the off-season be my guest but not rn . Hopefully they add tomorrow and not sell
