Ovi is still half the player Gretzky was. In the second period during the power play, all Ovi did was stay right on his spot and pretty much never moved. It's the equivalent of lefraud standing in back court waiting for his teammates to rebound the ball and pass to him with nobody around. They do all the work and Ovi and lefraud just sit there and wait.

Caps fans rip on Carlson's defense these days, but he saved an overtime goal at the end there. Great D tying up his man.
It's not enough for the Caps to be running away with the east, they're checking off all the side quests as well: getting Ovi the record, ruining the Rangers' season for fun, it's dreamland for Caps fans
You gotta hand it to Ovi, hockey is a physically demanding sport and he has played hard, sometimes checking another player into never never land, has a very hard accurate slap shot. Good for him!
