Elliotte Friedman on possible Canucks moves ahead of the trade deadline
Hockey Night in Canada Insider Elliotte Friedman joined the guys and talked about what he is hearing around the Vancouver Canucks ahead of Fridays deadline.
Every time I come to a Canucks' comment section, I'm reminded how embarrassed I am at times of the fan base. I've been a fan since 1990 and I just have to shake my head sometimes.
The way the Canucks are playing, even if they fluke out and get that final wildcard spot, they're just going to get creamed by the Jets in the first round giving Aquilini only two playoff games of revenue. They're better off selling at the deadline and trying again next season.
Bowser gets traded cuz he can brcome a free agent sooner than Petterson. Patterson still has 6+ yrs left on his contract so he can be traded down the road when they can get higher value than when he's performing at an elite level than he is rn.
