Don't let Adams do anything
They won’t do anything
Mcleod was mentioned often going to the Rangers.
Before Adams is FIRED I think he will most likely trade Henri the Finnish Pylon Jokiharju. Im predicting to Dallas. Also he possibly trades Jason Zucker if he can get a 1st or 2nd round pick for him.
I like you hopes he also trades Jack Quinn and Peyton Krebs ( give the 4th centre job to Tyson Kozak) and he resigns Jordan Greenway asap . Im praying that Adams doesnt trade Byram, Perterkka ,Benson , Malenstyn , Macleod Tuch or Cozens as I will be pissed if those players get dealt.
In April when Pegula fires Adams Im hoping he finally hires an EXPERIENCED GM( Burke, Shero or dare I say Shanahan from the Laffs) and lets him spend closer to the cap. Go sign a couple of UFAs this summer = a top 6 forward( Marner , Bennett, Ehlers or Boeser are all UFA) and a top 4 D man ( Gavrikov , Ekblad Pionk or Lindgren ) aka D partner for Owen Power.
Thanks for the video
Cozens the softest hockey player I’ve ever watched
They don't really have much to work with. Everyone is having a down year that you would want to move which is not the time to move them. Quinn is considered an AHL level talent by other teams at this point with his injuries and not rebounding the way he did in his limited time last year. Cozens is interesting because he had an over 30 goal year not long ago so teams will still look at that upside even though I don't think he gets to that again. Mcleod has been great and is a center. You would need to assume he takes a dip next year to move him. Zucker should not be moved for picks, but just traded for a similar player in his later 20's. Peterka has not answered much about contracts so they might need to trade him just to avoid a loss for nothing. Byron might be in that same boat even as an RFA. The cap goes way up this summer. You can trade picks for players without no trades then. Even overpay a bit for an UFA. These things don't get corrected overnight. They need a cultural shift
