Getting sent down was HUGE for McGroarty. He got through all his growing pains early and should be over a point-per-game right now with how good he has been for a while, but he's finally putting up lots of points lately. He has apparently also put on 10 pounds of muscle and his skating is very, very noticeably improved. He looked one-step behind at the NHL level, before they put him down, now I think if they called him up he would fit right in.
Further proof that IF the Pens ARE tanking to get a better draft pick- well, why NOT bring back your worst goalie to play, Pure GENIUS!!!
Sergei called up to WBS. Any word why? Larsson was fine at skate yesterday and Blom was on the way.
I still keep hoping that somehow some way Dubas can get Jaeger back to go with MaGroarty and the young guys in WB/S. just imagine how bright the Penguins future can be……..

Jarry's gonna get booed whenever he starts….this is the end, like you said. It's over. Problem is, there won't be another dynasty-level player like Mario or Sid for a long time…a rebuild will take a long time.
I'm with you Nick's, I want something tangible and not magic beans. Let's use the rangers 1st and go get someone exciting that is doing it at the nhl level.
