  1. really hoping he took a lot of meetings and laid some good groundwork for trades, over the 4 nations break. I am looking forward to the trades to come and moves to come. If the season is cooked (and is there a REAL doubt?) why not give Lindholm some time to really rehab?

  2. It makes the chase for playoffs a problem. Bruins likely will stay pat, but often Bruins can throw weird twists at you with trades and deals..

  3. LTIR!
    Yee-haw!
    Cap space! 🧢
After the last interview and seeing him barely on ice… didn't expect him back, cracked kneecap takes no less than 6 months…
    Sorry about Hampus

He can't recover that fast, not worth it. Get back here next season and go for it!

He might be rusty but he will be in top shape cuz he can train hard before the season

    But…
    Yee-haw!
    CAP SPACE!

  4. It's time for the Baby Bs. Let's give these kids 10-20 games to evaluate their futures.

On the trade front, I'd much prefer upcoming players, NHL or AHL, compared to draft picks. Young talent that projects as middle 6 scores/playmakers

  5. play out the season, work on things that need focus stay healthy and work towards decent draft picks in the lottery. play smart and give ice time to the younger players. experiemnt the rest of the season dont think they will make a wild card spot

  6. Surprise surprise. Something we all knew was coming. Just like Sweeneys press conference. We're gonna be sellers.
I just wish the media in the room would ask some tougher questions, instead of letting Sweeney off easy.

  7. Team has no chemistry get rid of management. It’s so hard to watch my favourite team. Let the kids play you have to start somewhere.

  8. Hopefully Sweeney is looking to trade someone for a decent draft pick (maybe Fredrick) and then trade again later to move up the draft. This year’s draft might not have a generational player, so it might be easier to move (cost less). Either that or we are in a couple year rebuild, in that case next year is going to suck too.

  9. I think this seals the deal on this season and losing to Anaheim at home should make that point perfectly clear. Too many injuries and the points they left on the table at the start of the season have returned to haunt them as I said they would. Let Hampus and Charlie get the proper rehab time and give the kids in Providence some NHL experience. As you stated, the odds aren't good to make the playoffs and even if it did happen they would likely be a quick exit in the first round. It's most likely an unpopular stance, but I'd rather see them miss the playoffs and fix the issues they have (draft / free agent signings). It's time for a reset and then prepare for next season perhaps with a new GM and we'll have to see about a head coach.

  10. Time to sell. IMO only 88 and 73 should be off the table. Bring up Merkulov and give him an opportunity. See what you got there. This team needs to get younger and quicker.

  11. another dumb trade by sweeney.gave up several high draft picks for this sofy, now brittle player.hey sweeney it's forwards, not defensemen that win stanley cups!get harry sinden out of your heads!this team stiinks and i'm praying for all their losses so they get a top ten or better ocik which they'll screw up-their scouts also suck passing on such talents as barzal, conner, konechny, debrincat and robertson who if i was general manager i would have drafted.you hear that sweeney you boob!
