  1. Guys , if Matthews is hurt, why is playing PK? Why is he playing 2 minutes of PP in OT? Something is off either him or the coach, maybe both?

  2. Some coaches would bench those guys, I’m surprised he didn’t play those guys the entire 5 inures of OT, maybe not enough timeouts?

  3. Is Schenn coming to score goals or be a defensive shutdown center? How many goals does Schenn have compared to Domi and Robertson, not mentioning Cowan.

  4. 31 teams should be calling Vancouver to buy low on Petey. This has to just be a slump and if any team thinks they can turn him back into at least ppg you should be able to get Petey for pennies on the dollar in a trade right now.

  5. Matthews has been struggling since he struggled in the 4 nations cup, probably because it was a tournament with stakes at hand, and ol' Captain Underpants is in fine playoff form

  6. Hard pass on Schenn. Too old, too much term, too much money. Wanna give up the farm? Do it for Cozens, and find a way to fit him. If not, go and get Yanni gourde, and Brandon Tanev. Then some depth on the blueline.

  7. Matthews doesn't have a spine, sell high and take a Lindros like package…worked out for Colorado and we all know he will be a future Vegas Golden Knight anyways…should have dumped him after the 60 goal over achievement

  8. Donato and Murphy are players I like. Blackhawks might be the only team that might want Domi. Skilled enough to play with Bedard and can protect him.

  9. I always thought Kyper was a bit harsh on Sammy at times, but after this show, specifically at 14:29….I can see why Kyper let's him have it sometimes 😂

  10. Bourney! Welcome back! What Disney did you go to? The one in Quebec, or the one in Kamloops???………hahahahahah. USA!!!!!!!…..love you hosers. Always have, always will. LGR!!!!!!!!

  11. Losing listeners talking this pro establishment rhetoric, please stop this is hockey not politics. It really makes me not like a show that otherwise I really enjoy.

  12. I am firmly convinced that the Leafs must trade picks and assets to acquire young players who may be available, rather than pursuing minor, insignificant deals. Traditionally, general managers in the league tend to make substantial trades during two key windows: the offseason and the trade deadline. If the Leafs miss this opportunity, they could be forced to make all their decisions in the offseason, which I believe is not an effective way to manage the team.

Ideally is move like Florida trade for Jones because this period GM are more willing to make trades therefore Tree should grab this opportunity to trade for more impact players for the coming season not for the purpose for this playoff. Players like Dylan Cozens from Buffalo and Quinton Byfield from Los Angeles are certainly worth giving up a first-round pick and top prospects for. Tree should use this trade deadline to be much more aggressive in upgrading the team, not only for this playoff run but, more importantly, for maintaining their status as a top team in the coming seasons.

However, if Tree continues with his usual conservative approach and opts for insignificant deals, then shame on him—and on Shanahan as well. It might be wise for Shanahan to start preparing his CV for a new job.

  13. The jets lost to Nashville, the oilers lost to the ducks, gpod teams lose hockey games. Relax Sammy. You're like a child.

  14. Brendan Shanahan has proven to be one of the least competent presidents in the league. He hired a rookie general manager who has made numerous mistakes and subsequently insisted on retaining the core group for far too long. After eight years of failure, he still re-signed William and allowed Mitch to walk away after missing last year's trading window, resulting in nothing for the team.

The Leafs do not need aging players for the third line. If they are willing to trade away top picks and assets, they must go all in for top players with potential, even if those players are currently experiencing slumps and their own teams are having second thoughts about them. Shame on Brendan Shanahan; he should be fired.

  15. Putting the C on Matthews chest was a mistake, I can only go by what I see in interviews and on the ice and I don’t think he’s a Leader🤷🏽‍♂️
