  1. Good game good reaction the eng of regulation format is 5 mins of 3on3 overtime and then a continuous shootout but in playoffs is just straight 20 mins 5on5 overtime still there’s a goal.

  2. Since you are a sharks fan and want to learn more about your team, you should watch highlight of Patrick Marleau & "Jumbo" Joe Thornton. Not sure if you knew this or not, but those two players led the sharks all the way to the Stanley Cup Final in 2016. Joe Thornton has the 7th most career assists among NHL players in history and will probably go into the hall of fame this year. His jersey number "19" is retired by the sharks. Patrick Marleau "12" is the only other shark to have his jersey retired. He was the captain of the team in 2016, when him and Joe led the team to the finals. Unfortunately they lost in 6 games to the Pittsburgh Penguins…led by Sydney Crosby, and it is the only time the sharks have made it to the finals.

  3. The battle of the Capital cities! I'm Canadian so I grew up with hockey but I'm always glad to see new fans of the game. Been enjoying your videos, keep them coming.

  4. dude please watch more hockey you're so so goddamn funny it's so entertaining watching new fans get into this sport. idk if you'll read all of this but i can explain some things to you

san jose sharks: right now, they're in their rebuild season. they haven't been doing the greatest because they don't have the best shaped team and they want more draft picks so they've been hanging out as one of the worst teams right now. However, they're about to get scary. they've got good young guns and this season too, they're probably gonna get a pretty high draft pick. they may be a bummer to watch right now but they're going to get better and it's super entertaining to watch their young guns.

4 nations: no they don't do that every year, this was the first year the NHL did it actually. basically, the players get this off time and previous years the NHL would implement the "all star games" however, clearly lots of players didn't like these gimmick games and "fun activities" so last year it was pretty bland. This year they got the 4 nations games and honestly, with how much talk it got for the NHL then they're probably gonna do it again. I don't believe they'll do it next year though because there will be the winter olympics.

4 nations fights: Yes, basically anytime you can get into a fight if you want. the backstory to the three fights in the 4 nations games is basically that the three guys on the USA team, they made a group chat and talked between each other how they wanted to get into a fight. then when the game came around, Canada answered the call.

I highly, highly recommend watching these much watch fights

new york rangers vs new jersey devils, full on line brawl (5v5) at the start of the game https://youtu.be/vlLgGNUGId4?si=_CYPvslj4sAnCno6
minnesota wild vs philadelphia flyers (four fights one after another) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRDePMsv6DQ

there's so many more but these two are on my mind right now
hope you react to them !

  5. As a Senators fan, I’m really happy with the result of this game. Considering how dominant the Capitals looked early game, the fact that we were even able to get an overtime point from it is massive. Ggs to the caps, all of our games against them this season have been nail biters

  6. the tkachuk wilson fight is hilarious bc they are considered two of the most detestable players in the league and then its an american fighting a canadian except the american plays in the canadian capital and the canadian plays in the american capital

  7. 7:16 Explanation: This is called dump and chase and it is one of of the fundamentals of hockey. Dump and Chase in ice hockey is when the puck-possessing team crosses the red line and dumps the puck deep into the opposing teams’ zone. The idea is if you get pucks in deep it gets if as far away from your net as possible while also making yourselves able to pressure them in their own zone possibly creating a turnover. Another reason they do it is so that they have time to change lines if needed. This play also forces the defense to turn around making it possible for the offense to race them there and generate even more pressure. In this particular situation you can see that Ottawa has a power play. During a power play the team down a player is allowed to ice the puck down the ice from wherever and it is used to kill that time that they may have and make it harder to generate pressure and get set-up in the zone.
