  1. Sharks lookin' good with a couple of big wins in a row and on a back-to-back nonetheless 👏🏼👏🏼.

  2. Really impressed with the progression of Will Smith. He looked absolutely overmatched early season. Now, he not only looks like “he belongs” but he’s oozing with confidence and outright dangerous. Just wow…

  3. That was a strange game because Sharks have newfound confidence in themselves after beating Torotno and Buffalo Sabres are the NHL's most snakebit team, unable to attain chemsitry despite many years of high draft picks and missing playoffs. It is as a losing mentality has taken root in the franchise and it cannot recover from this identity, it is stuck in losing mode. Sharks actually looked like scoring threats tonight, unusual to say this season. Mike Girer has to make many trades to shake up the Sharks losing lineup and try something different. The show must go on. Given Vlasic's extraordinary shot-blocking record and over 2165 shots blocked, what I think about is how much pain and number of injuries all that blocking frozen rubber flying over 90 miles an hour with impacts on body parts such as ankles or feet in particular. Hockey equipment (shin pads and pants) works most of the time but it sometimes hits a gap or soft spot in your skates, or the face. The degree of pain always depends on who is shooting and how heavy their shot is, but a rubber puck can only do so much damage to an armored body because it is not a bullet shaped projectile. Vlasic demonstrates his courage by blocking that many shots in a very onlg and solid career on defence. He has probably saved hundreds of goals with his blocking that many shots.
