Absolutely nothing wrong. Anyone who got really upset by this, and it really just seems to be a handful of loud Habs fans, need to grow a pair and not take everything so seriously. There are many players in the league, including some on the Habs, that have done classless things while SOBER and not even in a moment of elation after winning the damn cup twice in a row. Most of the interview hes talking up Vasy, which as his teammate and friend is perfectly fine. Let the man celebrate.
i showed kucherov's interview to my 61 year old dad who isnt too keen on athletes who always boast and trash talk (i.e. he hates richard sherman)…. he loved kucherov's interview so much he started to cry and bend over with laughter

There's a great new IG picture of Kucherov, on a boat, with both the Stanley Cup and Lombardi trophy, and he has a shirt with himself (from the press conference) on it that reads…"18 MIL OVER THE CAP". It's awesome!

This is pre-COVID (respiratory issues and I still avoid crowds). Another branded venue, Coors Field in Denver, they will sell bud light at concessions, but only Coors products in the stands.
I heavily disagree with sdpn's opinion. whatever happens, you gotta show respect to your fellow athletes.

I like to think no matter how wrong I may be that he's just jealous that Habs fans cheered more passionately for one finals win than his fans did for back to back cups and that when he walks down the street in Tampa nobody knows or cares who he is and that's why he's so salty about Habs fans to the point of us still being on his mind even after he wins the cup (talk about rent free baby). Come on over to Montreal friend and you'll be treated like a bloody King if you put up those kind of numbers and despite all the hate you're getting right now from salty fans they would take you on their team in a heartbeat and Montreal media would absolutely love cocaine fueled rants like this. As for old Vasileneskiy, of course Kucherov is going to stick up for him……… Tampa Bay hides all their LTIR guy's inside Vasileneskiys chest pads so they where super close all season 😉 his fat suite/goalie equipment are so comically over sized they need to be included in any award this guy wins and yes I am trolling……. I do believe his equipment is comically oversized but at the same time the Islanders where able to take the Michelin man to game 7 so it's no excuse for the Habs to come up so short.

The best thing about trash talking is that it ALWAYS comes back at you. Tampa Bay better do good next year or Kucherov will be crucified and trolled by every teams next year.

I think the Vezina went to the right Goalie in the Regular season, and the Conn Smyth should have gone to Brayden Point, but Vasi did deserve it as well.

Anyone complaining about this are the reason hockey is at the bottom of major sports in NA and why next to no one outside of Canada and the northeast watches hockey. The NHL NEEDS personalities like the NBA and NFL have.

Almost a Year later this is still funny. Kuch sounded exactly like the comment section of EVERY post about the games or the players. both sides of the fan bases chirping at each other.. Be it crying about the refs, the cap, LTIR, Vasy pads etc, Kuch was the mic drop guy who just comments Number one BS, drops the mic and gets a drink deal out of it.
At the time I hated it. Obviously I was crushed and Kucherov shitting on us habs fans added salt to the wound. Looking back, this was hilarious and a legendary post game moment.
