  1. Amazing signing for Jake Evans, definitely a player who wanted to stay in Montreal and be part of the future of the team. Holding longer was simply about negotiations, but this deal is fantastic.

  2. What is going to happen with Arnia now? Many fans dont like the big Finn but I personally like him, big guy who plays the game the right way, even if he does not produce like one could have dreamed a few years ago when many saw the potential of such a big player who has good hands.

  3. I said all along Evans would get resigned…..4 years is what I predicted and he got a 1.14 mil a year raise…he loves playing in Montreal and would have been a loss felt..

  4. I'd like to see the club use draft capital to get a real solid proven 2c. Even when dach comes back next year, I'd move on from him, to many injuries and not up to par. But if we got a real 2c with demigod on L2 and replace laine after his contact ( he's a slug and one trick pony, seriously he doesn't skate and match the tenacity of the rest of the club)

  5. Trade dvorak, trade a pick for oreilly. Then move mailloux and a 1st and maybe another prospect or picks and try and get dylan cozens then send beck down to help the ahl team and maybe trade for a depth dman for the ahl team too. Then this summer maybe move oreilly for a pick and bring up beck

  6. good signing and for 2.85 it's a bargain for the Habs organization. My personal opinion is they should hold on to Armia, he definitely plays a role for the future solid 3rd line forward that kills penalties

  7. Come on Poirer…. Price,Allen& Petry are all still on the books around
15m…… I can see Habs keeping armia and letting him walk in the summer just as much as a trade for a mid 3rd to 5th rder

  8. Amazing signing, but means nothing if they can't get a number 2 center, who can that be? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  9. That was a great signing Evans fits into the culture and checks a lot of specialty boxes that would be really hard to find at this price. Great move for this team.

  10. On a besoin de joueurs qui ont le coeur à la bonne place et qui sont prêts à travailler fort. And this is a guy who can leave even the good ones in the dust. I like a fast guy! Way to go Montréal!

  11. I remember hearing somebody's take that NHL salary should be based on roughly a million dollars per point. I heard that a few years ago and based on that and the rising salary cap, this deal is 100% home run! Plus he's he's our PK specialist and any points he puts up is basically a bonus!

  12. what the puck !! were not gonna win with guys like evans he takes a place up for a kid WERE REBUILDING this is a shit move , this is not bryan skrudland or ryan walter !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A STUPIDE MOVE !!!

  13. armia , dvorak , newhook out and i would still trade evans ! what you people started watching hockey yesterday you know what there worth trade these guys ! jesus !!
