In order for a player to be eligible for LTIR he need to have the approval of a certified physician
I doubt that physician would be dumb enough to put his career in danger just for this.

Considering the fact that Tkachuk didn’t play against Sweden and barely played in the championship game, I don’t know where all this “suspicion” is coming from. Chucky ain’t the type to just sit out games for no reason and he was obviously in some major discomfort during the 4 nations after the first Canada USA match.

How is this a greasy move? He has played over half the season. He got injured, and that’s how the rules are written. Florida has never abused it like other teams have so why make that accusation? It’s just for ratings because the “suspicion” is a load of bs. Must be slow media days. What’s greasy, is what Edmonton is attempting to do with Kane. Also, what Vegas does with Stone. These guys play minimal to no games all season and they somehow miraculously are healthy for the playoffs.
