  1. I've been saying it since the trade, never should have gotten rid of Necas. We should have traded for a center who can play with Necas. The first few months, Necas and Roslovic were all of our offense. The rest of the team was in a "slump" that hasn't really ended. When Necas went into a slump he was still producing assists and making great plays that kept the offense moving.

    Rantenan didn't make sense for the Hurricanes because our problem has been at center, Rod wouldn't play Necas with Aho for any meaningful amount of time at 5 on 5, and we had no other center who could keep up with him. We honestly should have gone after JT Miller and kept Necas, the Canucks were selling him for cheap and we could have gotten him without losing much.
