  1. I turned this video on to my kids and now they are laughing so loudly that the neighbors came over to see what happened🔥

  2. It's shit or get off the pot time, and AGAIN this team is looking for physical play, toughness and the ability to knock people the fuck over. SY hasn't been able to get a grade A star and he hasn't gotten anyone to PROTECT a grade A star. Maybe it's his breath?

  3. “I think we know what we need to do” “we learned a lot from it”

Yet, you haven’t been doing it, in the biggest games of the season?

If you learned a lot from it, then why do you keep making the same mistakes?

  4. Officials need to be held accountable. Some of these morons need to go back to reffing peewee hockey. Fans know they're a problem. Players and coaches (too afraid to call out refs generally for fear of the looming ref 'game management' next time that official is, well, umm, officiating their game) know they're a problem — yet the problem persists.

  5. i hate his answer at the end about 'game management' and talking about the losing goal, bc I rewatch the play and – what did they do wrong, as far as game management? it seems like he's just hating on Kane again. Pat was trying to win the game and seize momentum. He did not take some huge risk on the pass that ended up a turnover. It was a turnover deep in the Columbus o-zone, with all 5 CBJ players in their d-zone and 3 Wings players – all defensive type players – between the Wings zone and the 5 CBJ players. What did Kane do wrong on that play, other than have his pass to Cat get deflected? Nothing. That is a philosophical difference in hockey opinion between Kane and McLellan that I don't think will ever be bridged or reconciled. Kane wants to win that game. In regulation. His team has all momentum, his line has all momentum. They've dominated all night. Columbus is on their heels. He's trying to WIN. McLellan apparently wanted them dumping it in and defending and playing to get to OT. That's fine if that's how he feels but there's no saying that's the right way to play it. Why give Columbus the OT point when you can take it in regulation?

So there's no fixing that difference between him and Pat. It is philosophical and fundamental. I rewatched the losing goal to see if there had been something egregious by Kane, some horrible mistake somewhere, some weirdly reckless careless thing – and there wasn't. Just a deflected pass for a turnover deep in the zone, w the Wings in solid defensive position behind the CBJ players. Kane did not lose that game or give up that goal, and his play there was not a mistaken approach or reckless. Edvinsson and Johansson and Talbot and the refs needed to be about 100x better on that play. I saw no game situation mismanagement from 88 or 93. They were trying to win in regulation with the wind at their backs, and more power to them. We need more players trying to win on this team.

  6. I wonder who he’s talking about when he said one of the players is a for-lifer. It sounded like a specific example. I can’t imagine it was Larking, Raymond or Seider, because those guys would never be traded. I would guess maybe DeBrincat is the guy he was talking about, but that’s just a guess. Would be interesting to speculate

  7. When the wings activate the defense they tend to play better with that aggressive style. They played that way in the 3rd period and completely dominated! When they take a defensive structure this team is too passive and leaves way too much gap for NHL hockey. Good players pick them apart. They need to go back to "just play F'n hockey"

  8. I say Stevie doesn’t do much ,and starts thinking about next year ! It’s a top center a D man at the minimum! Or wait till next year !

  9. Too much talent on this team to get dummied twice by Columbus. Everyone take a deep deep breath because it’s time to dive deep for the rest of the season

  10. Since everyone in the comments is giving their opinions on what Steve does I think he’s cookin something up idk how big but he freed hussos contract most of our long term pieces are signed already so could it be to bring in a big name maybe but idk I think most he does tho is add a top 4 D maybe a 2C and if one’s available a more solidified starting goalie like a Gibson from Anaheim for example nothing young cuz we got Augustine and Cossa coming but a better goalie for a playoff push/run for the center I’d say a more veteran guy that’s solid like a Jaden Schwartz from Seattle for example solid upgrade over copp or compher but still old enough to be moved on from when someone like Danielson is ready for D making the top 6 something like
    Kasper-Larkin-Raymond
    Debrincat-Schwartz-Kane
I think that’s a pretty solid top 6 for a playoff push-run I’d say like a rental guy since ASP is coming fast it looks like so our top 4 will be solid so probably something like
    Ed-Seider
    Jo-ASP
Or something in the near future so no need for a long term guy maybe a 1 year rental for a playoff push like David Savard from Montreal or a potentially longer term option a Henri Jokiharju cuz he’s only 25 or 26 could play top 6 right side in the future with gustavsson or something next year have a d-core of
    Ed-Seider
    Jo-ASP
    Gus/Chatiot-Jokiharju
Not bad I feel and whoever isn’t playing whether it’s chariot or Gus becomes our injury guy to bring in for the idea of Savard maybe have for a playoff push/run
    Chariot-Seider
    Ed-Jo
    Gus-Savard
I think Savard could be a pretty solid upgrade over Holl

  11. Folks just like last year tend to underestimate the importance of health. Losing RAS and Kopp whether you like those guys or not effects this team. Those were unfortunately your better defensive forwards. Lets hope Ras gets back soon.

  12. Not gonna lie he’s a goofy person but aziz is right about Larkin at the moment.

No show lately. And I own two Larkin jerseys.

Him and Raymond need to wake the F up. Because SY isn’t making moves and it’s up to them to lead.

  13. Year 6 of the Yzerplan and the progress in the last two years has been “we didn’t lose as bad in this year’s home and home series that essentially ended our season as we did to Ottawa in 2023.”
