Hell yeah
Will the Wild trade Marco Rossi?
Wasn't howe an abusive drunk
I feel like ever since the Ryan Miller trade debacle, Armstrong has always favored to just stand pat at the trade deadline, at most only making very miniscule moves. I don't think he changes his pattern for the Blues now. Just because there's a lot of bad teams in the West, doesn't make St. Louis a contender with the likes of Winnipeg, Dallas, or Edmonton. While we might have one of the best goalies for high-pressure situations, we lack depth on the backend that can win a round, let alone a title. So going for it too also feels shortsighted, but alas, we shall see what he does.
What does he have against the Oilers now? JK
Great video as usual
Doug armstrong could do something very big if he wanted. We jave enough cap space for rantanen this year… im not saying id do it but its there…
The Panthers should trade for Rantanen now that they have the cap space.
Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Teams are shaping up!
THG is taunting Oilers fans today😁
I may be wrong here but I believe much of the Blues current cap space is from Krug missing the year on the injured non roster list. So if he comes back next year that space is gone. It’s a problem because they don’t know when or even if he will come back
Matthew Tkachuk just experienced the final stage of FAFO.
I wonder if the blues 🤔 move some the vet defenseman or if they loose the next couple games or if they push for a run then make moves at the draft . I agree with you Shannon could go either way hmmm
Just an Absolute beauty of a jersey 😍
Looks like Canada beat the hell out of Tkachuk
Have the Canucks played 1 game with a full, healthy roster this year? I don’t think they have, it seems like someone’s always been injured.
He didn't mention the Oilers/McDavid news item, odd
Sidney Crosby surpasses Bobby Hull for 18th all-time in goals (611).
Buffalo defenseman Jokiharu could help Detroit, Ottawa, NY Rangers, NJ Devils?
I would normally be the first to put on a tinfoil hat, but Tkachuk played multiple games in the 2023 Finals (and possibly before that) with a broken sternum that prevented him from bending to the point others had to stuff him into his own pads. If he could stand long enough to play, he'd be out there.
Crosby still awesome at 37
Skipped the McDavid news.
Don't know why you put it on the board.
The Penguins Toronto was anything but boring. I wish more games were like this because the entertainment value was off the charts. Bonkers is the word!
Congrats to Sidney, passing the GOAT Gordie Howe in assists. It will be interesting to see how high he ends up on some all time lists.
Canucks should ve sellers at the trade deadline, time for yet another rebuild
It's okay because it's not the Gold team… /s
Florida pulling a Vegas. Lets see if people hate them too.
As a Habs fan I'll be sad to see Evans moved he shows up every shift he's one of those guys everyone would love to have on their team and he wants to be in Montreal. That said I understand Montreal not wanting to overpay for his services especially considering Owen beck can fill that role going forward will be an interesting deadline for my Habs I think. Great video as always cheers .
Come on Dubas. EP40 for Crosby. Dooooo itttttttt. 😀
HabsFanSez: keep Evans. Whatever the price other teams are willing to pay won't be high enough. Evans is reliable and dependable and underrated. He's a keeper, hope he re-signs.
I think Tkachuk is injured and could use time to heal. I think Florida would have a very different announcement if they'd come out of the break ice cold
You can hurt yourself trying not to aggravate an injury, Boy Shannon tell it like it is hahaha I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome so don't I know about doing just that.
He completely skipped over McDavid news………
Oilers should trade
Bouchard and skinner (goalie) and a 2nd rounder
For
Saros and skjei (if you cant work around skjeis cap then go for barron)
When the thumbnail shows THG wearing a Blues Jersey… I’m in!
Thg still sour about oilers beating canucks in the playoffs😂
dallas need a blue liner
Greetings!
Not sure if Halo 2 elite or LGR.
Shannon has it occurred to you that Allvin may pull off the same type of moves as Armstrong in St. Louis. They both will try to sell off assets, which they will then turn around and use as trade currency. No rebuilds here, and i personally don't think ANY team should entertain the rebuild model. Both teams are in similar positions and will move forward using the re-tool button on their keyboards.
Sad Sid playing on this team
I remember all the hype around Crosby 20 years ago – 'he's the next Gretzky!' I rolled my eyes because I remembered what happened to Eric Lindros, thinking 'they're just putting a target on his back.' Not to mention I knew the NHL was losing money without a recognizable face of the league and thought it a cynical, uncreative, desperate grab for more attention and money. As the injuries and concussions started to pile-up, I kept waiting for the inevitable Kariya-like disaster, or just the slow, sad decline due to injury and the tearful good-bye in his late 20s.
But the years kept coming, so did the awards, the highlights and the milestones. Sid the Kid became Sid the Middle-Aged-Man and he's still managed to put up goated numbers despite more than a few injuries and setbacks. In a league that keeps getting younger and faster, he's still a point per game player well-past his prime. You can make the 'greatest of all-time' argument without being laughed out of the room, and he's not done yet, either.
I wonder if Colorado will look at Schenn.
Any Montreal fan will tell you Evans shouldn’t be cheap. People look at totals and where he is in the lineup and scoff. He’s great and would be ideal for playoffs.
The mildly concerned panic face, gotcha.
I can't believe people actually believe some teams are cheating with LTIR. Do you really think other teams aren't holding them accountable and demanding 3rd party doctors to verify injuries? You think owners of other teams are just letting teams cheat with LTIR and not say anything?
