I'm not happy with the trade right now. If we get Columbus- Jones, then I'll be elated. I would have rather traded Knight last offseason or even buy him out and re-sign Montour for $7m
I hear a lot of trying to make ourselves feel better about this trade because bottom line is we gave up a lot and Jones gonna make it harder to keep Bennett and Ekblad.
overpaid. especially considering i've heard nothing about Drieger or the young goalies ready to play dependable games. Blackhawks not retaining 50% while getting a young goalie and a first? Zito, Tippett and now Knight. two Ls, not terrible, just not great.
