The fix is in for the Jackets. Outshot 50-15… Several blatant missed calls in the first and then the "divine hand of Johnny" guides the refs to miss the most obvious high stick call you may ever see.
At least they will be able to pass the flag with his jersey number around for their 2 playoff games. Big story line for the nhl… Better milk it!

Typical, non call what a god damn joke. The Wings got screwed. The Ref was right there looking at the play. Looks like a fix to me. The high stick took Edvinsson out of the play. No Ferraro the Wings got divinely shafted. The Gary Bettman funny league strikes again.
This is a game that could cost the Wings a playoff spot at season's end. Did you notice how quickly the Refs said no penalty. Were they looking at some chick in the stands.

There was no review. That was the issue, the linesman could have called a double minor so that they could have reviewed it. They just discussed but didnt review

Detroit shouldn’t necessarily be complaining about the missed high stick. They guys had 25 more shots than CBJ and way more offensive zone possession time but they still lost 🤷♂️. They had their opportunities but blew them.
I have 0 rooting interest in these two teams, but holy Hell, how do you not call that? In what universe is that not a high stick?

Would love to find out that the refs get suspended by the league for this non-call. Can't call it a missed call. They didn't miss it. They saw it clearly and just chose to look the other way.

Rules need to be changed immediately. Not only was that a blatant high stick but it caused the other dman to lose momentum. This is absurd considering the wings will make or not make the playoffs by 1 or 2 games. This should not be happening in modern day hockey. Change the fing rules!
The ref should have said it is a good goal because ESPN has said we need to switch back over to college basketball because this is America.
