I see Rantanen coming here as plausible. But, can he propel us all the way past Round 1 and beyond? That's what I can't seem to figure out, so I have to let time tell

Mikko would be a fantastic addition if he is willing to resign. If he has a great playoffs and marner another shit one. Give Mikko the 13 plus deal and let Marner walk or take 11 to 12 to stay.

Am I the only one who hopes we DON'T see Rantanen in TO?? If we do, it means Mitch is gone, and the priority should be keeping Mitch. I'm the first one to criticize his playoff failures, but he's not the only one, and he's easily the best playmaker in TO and his defensive game is valuable. It will be impossible to replace him, even with a player like Miko. Not that he's bad obviously, but Miko's playing in Carolina has also made me question if he's actually worth 14 mil/year. I'd like to see what he can do over a season without Mac next to him.
