Somehow I forgot to mention Dobes standing his ground to the 6'6 230lbs Greenway and LAUGHING lol. That was unreal. Dobes is a KILLER in net.
How about we keep Jake Evans and enjoy his motivated before free agency remainder of the season. I want to make the playoffs.
Heineman ❤
The LANE TRAIN MOVES ON …2 PTS. ..!! EMIL IS A STUD …!! DOBES STANDS TALL …!! LOVE THE HAB SUPPORT IN BUFFALO…A SEA OF RED ..!!
Lane is a D ! exactly. Among top NHL offensive Ds already. Celebrini very good but not yet among top forwards in the league.
Lane will acclaim the Calder!
Emil ! Emil ! EEEEMIIIIL !
Lane totally deserves the Calder. For sure Celebrini will be a much more impactful player long-term throughout his career, but you certainly can't say that he's exceeded any expectations at least to this point.. But Hutson does that almost every night!
Three points out a playoff spot with 22 games left to go. You cannot trade anyone from this roster. It would destroy the team not only in the present, but in the future, as well. You are, in effect, forsaking the team and building for a future which many never come (See Sabres, Buffalo). Again, the future is now. Evans, Armia and Heineman were terrific once again tonight. Without that trio the Habs are duking it out for the #1 pick next June. It's entirely possible that if you cannot reach an agreement Evans and Armia by Friday, you wait until July 1 to try again. Evans is NOT going to get $4 Million per x 5 years from anyone. He and Army may take a hometown discount if we go far this year. Savard"s value has gone down lately. And you know what? WE need him for the stretch and, hopeful, the playoffs. The team's fate is in their own hands now. Some four point games coming up. And yes, I would trade a first round pick plus either Mailloux or Hage to strengthen our team for the stretch.
This game > Dobes, Hutson, whole Habs this is way the playoff pass 😉
dont trade evans or dvorak—-dack is finished
hinny been a beast, getting hit by a car only was a bump in the road for him and he is back not missing a step lol #gohabsgo
Merci Beaucoup
Lane Calder
100% agree on Lane !!! The winners here are us for having him !!
Lane Hutson is my spirit animal
If we look back to the last defenseman to win the Calder, we go back to '21-'22 when Seider won. Zegras outscored him by 11pts, Bunting by 13pts, and both played less games in the process.
If Hutson is within 5pts of Michkov or Celebrini, then it is Hutson's to lose.
We’re 6-0 against Buffalo in our last 6 this should be a lock everytime
Love it!!!!!!!!🎉❤😊
Love it!
Like my favorite team is VAN but currently I enjoy watching montreal even more…Also the fact that I am Slovak, I just love to watch Slafkovsky's performance. I love to check every day if montreal has a chance of making it to play-offs and just damn, they are so much fun to watch <3
Both caufield and Suzuki have been nothing progressing year over year in stats and you still have plugs in the media and Quebec calling their contracts duds. Caufield could realistically break 40 goals this year. Suzuki is a point per Game Center.
Calder – Lane
Thank God they won vs the Sabres, the last-ranked team…
Choo choo for the calder 😉
Hutson for the Calder
Another excellent outing. The Sabres were applying themselves in the second half of the game but the Habs weathered the pressure and closed it out. Good game all round. I liked Dobes staring down Greenway and not flinching. Not looking forward to next weeks trade deadline TBH. The team is clicking now and I'm afraid changes will upset that vibe. Thanks Josh.
OK boys here’s the deal. We can get all hyped up about a four game-winning streak and we were all hyped up when the habs were the best team in the NHL for about a month, but we need to not lose sight of the ultimate goal the fact that it was never about this year. It’s about next year and the year after Montreal is not a playoff team and Kent and the management team will stay the course that they have already planned out the future is very exciting but it’s not about this year…….. if we are going to move off, Evans Anderson Savard, let’s send them on their way

100% if everybody stays healthy Hutson is the Calder winner
It helps when Dach is not playing
Kent is in a good place right now. If other teams call for any of our pending UFA's he can say, "look, we are fighting for a playoff spot, our fans will call for my head if I break up this chemistry…..unless you (in my best Godfather imitation) Make me an offer I can't refuse. He also knows that being in the mix again the Habs fans will not be upset if he just keeps the team together since we all know next year we have some young guys ready to make the jump and fill these UFA spots (Demidov, Beck, Kapanen, and Reinbacher) that's without Hage the year after. Great show! GO HABS GO! PS, Calder for
