  1. Robertson vs Patches – Adam is wrong … patches provides more offence per 60 than Robertson.
    Patches 37 games = 13 points Robertson 50 games = 16 points
Makes patches 2% better offensively on average, plus is a much more physical player

  2. Robertson played a couple shifts with Marner and Matthews against Boston. I'd like to see that for a couple games. See if he can keep up with those two. Plus, it could cover for his defensive issues having those two alongside him (playing him with Domi is not an option at this point).

I think if you can get a good 3C with Robertson there, our depth starts to look ridiculous.

    Robertson-Matthews-Marner
    Domi-Tavares-Nylander
    Knies-3C-McMann?
    Lorentz-Kampf-Reeves/Steeves/Patches/Dewar

Swap around Domi, Knies and McMann (can Bobby play RW?) to your hearts content. You gotta salivate at the thought of something like Knies-B.Schenn-McMann or Knies-O'Reilly-McMann as a 3rd line, don't you?

  3. Start with shanahan the guys usless !! Then sell matthews fir some tampons and give marner away the guys a bum !! Imagine handing a c to a bum who couldnt hwvk the playoffs yearly wow just wow cant fix stupid !! Wait ans see what stupid trqde they do to make playoff run gonna be epic failure like lqst 50 years smh

  4. Why don't these 3 stooges keep talking about O'Reilly coming back? LOL, content creators du jour …

  5. TBH, Jesse Blake is the only sensible person on this podcast. He cuts right thru the BS gibberish getting thrown around and doesn't need to use many words to get the point across.

  6. Keep him..keep them all and be happy. Getting a new one in the team will change again the chemistry. Better what has been planned for the playoffs

  7. The coaches all hate Robertson. He is only a top 6 guy and nothing else – but they barely play him in the top 6. Even when Matthews, Knies, Pat and others were injured the coach would not put Robertson on the top 2 lines. Thus, you cut your losses and move on, even though his trade value is still low vs. his potential.

  8. Knies | Matthews | Marner
    McMann | Tavares | Nylander
    Robertson? | C | Jarnkrok/Domi
    Lorentz | Kampf | Dewar
    Extra: Steeves, Pacioretty, Reaves

    Rielly | RD
    McCabe | Tanev
    Ekman-Larsson | Timmins
    Extra: Myers

  9. The late tying goal by Robertson and Holmberg is what needs to happen. Yes, the big guys are amazing but for all the complaints about depth scoring …they’ve never been given opportunities. The other night and recent games have shown that PP2 and those middle guys can produce at crucial times. I think it’s good to mix up the PP minutes and lean on Robertson, domi and McMahon more. Hard to be confident and engaged with little ice time in garbage minutes.

  10. I do love how when he wants to leave everyone panics and wants to keep him but when he says he wants to stay everyone wants to get rid of him

    50 GP 11 G 16 PTS

Seems like a lot of angst about nothing.

  11. Robertson is playing the best he’s played in time. He’s playing physical, grinding it out down low. Also his falling habit seems to have disappeard. If we get rid of him we are really gonna regret it

  12. When it comes to the playoffs he will not be effective. For a guy who has a great shot he never seems to score on grade A chances. Have been a Leaf Fan since 1970. Stanley Cup contender does not a have a Nick Robertson in the starting lineup.
