These Oilers need to learn how to score an empty net goal on the first attempt. McDavid is the biggest culprit of not being able to put the game away with an empty net over the season. Frustrating to watch.

Calvin Pickard should be the starter!! Especially after this game. Bouchard had some moments still.
I HATE it when a defenceman flicks the puck with minimal force towards the net/ further from the blue line as an attempt to "clear" the puck out of the defensive zone. Henrique did that at least 3 times in the 3rd period tonight and Carolina had two solid chances, one of them happened with 4min left. Edmonton need to get more depth scoring for these next few easier games, ANA(h), MTL(h), BUF(a) are must win if they want home ice advantage for the opening two rounds of the playoffs. LA Kings are starting to struggle again, St.Louis beat them convincingly 4-1 on a second of a b2b.
