I have little faith Drury will do anything amazing, but i still can't wait for TD just for these guys to be gone and see some different names . I might be singing a different tune if Drury gets fleeced but at this point this team is so depressing who cares.
No trade is going to fix a team that has a lousy coach & GM.
LINDGREN NEEDS TO GO, HE IS HORRIBLE.. ZERO OFFENSE, AND NOW HIS DEFENSE SUCKS TOO… HE ALSO FORCES ADAM FOX TO TAKE ALOT OF PUNISHMENT IN THE CORNERS, BECUASE HE IS UNABLE TO ADVANCE THE PUCK OUT OF THE DEFENSIVE ZONE. LINDGREN IS WORKING EVERY DAY TO SHORTEN THE CAREER OF ADAM FOX… THE CANUCKS DID NOT WANT HIM INCLUDED IN THE JT MILLER TRADE.. TAKE A BAG OF PUCKS.. NE IS A HORRIBLE PLAYER
I think the best scenario at this point is to try and get back some 2nd rounders. Smith, Vesey and Jones won't get you more than a couple of 4ths or 5ths. We can ask for 2nds for Lingren. BUT YOU WONT GET IT LOL . We may get one. But never 2. Rfas do not normally bring much.
If Drury wanted to be bold he could move Breadman to L.A. who are dying for a scorer. But it's more likely to move Mika in summer. We need a true power forward and an impact D. So that's something that only comes with serious talks.
I honestly think we missed our chance….if we didn't sign Igor, kept him working hard for that payday…we could have retooled with 1 deal. Then drop the rfas and go after the best you can do in free agency. That Igor thing is already starting to be a problem. He's going to be the highest paid guy without a cup on a rebuilding team. 🏒🍸
I don't see anything meaningful from the Rangers this deadline. Doubtful he'll move anyone from the blue line with all the injuries. More likely we'll see Drury's plan in the off season. At this point all I see is maaaayyybe Riley Smith.
