Nope, don't trade JJP. You will possibly fill a hole but create another. They need to remove Cozens from this team. Just about EVERY other player on the team has better top line numbers and better underlying metrics when they play without him compared to with him. This team instantly gets better without Cozens, what you get back for him in return is just an extra bonus.
I can't imagine they'll let Adams make trades, I'd have to think he's gone after this season. You don't let dead men walking make big boy trades I would hope.
They were shutout two days prior and were pissed off and took it out on us. It happens.

UPL is back to being the guy he was before last year which was an anomoly. I wouldn't mind if they found a taker for him and let Levi have the job next year.. Levi is playing better in the AHL than UPL ever played at any level. I hope Peterka is on the untouchable unless you blow us away with the offer.. I could see Zucker and Greenway moved.. last year of their deals and then UFA.. get what you can for them.. most of the rest.. no.

I'll likely get some grief for this but I'd rather see Thompson get traded. His 95% failed dangles and bad decisions are hard to watch.

Would not break my heart to see Sammy and Power traded. Seriously, I wish Power the best, but he is too nice and soft. Use him as he does have value and attach Sammy to that deal to unload that contract
At this point any Sabre that can get off this sinking ship should.

I do not see JJ being traded unless its a block buster trade that makes the Sabres much better. You are talking like Pettersson and Tom Willander are coming back in that trade. You even are talking Lekkerimaki in that trade. Because its likely JJ and Byram, a Top line winger and a Top Pair D is not worth Pettersson at this point. So you would be getting 2 very good NHL Ready Prospects in Willander who will be a top 4 RHD 1 day. And Lekkerimaki who could be a 30 goal scorer. JJ is projected for far more points than Pettersson. Pettersson is very low in value right now even if he can be a top 10 player in the League.
So if JJ is on the table there has to be much more than just Pettersson in the return.
I’m surprised by the comments on here. JJ is Skinner 2.0. He doesn’t play defense and is soft as butter. He represents what the Sabres have been for the last 14 years. You can’t worry about every Sabre moving on and having success elsewhere. JJ isn’t a top 5 talent like Eichel or Reinhart. I’d definitely be listening to offers, especially with his RFA status.
We lost the game on talent and coaching. Their talent was too much and Ruff got out coached. But that's on the players also it's on Adams for not getting the roster what they need to compete with that game.
