No one understands the Wpg Jets issue. They have no corporate sponsorship to subsidize games. Relying on sellouts of fans only, is not sustainable unless you have the richest owner in Canada. Just so happens that the owner is also buying all real estate in the downtown area around the arena. This is part of a larger plan, and I agree with Frank that they sounded the alarm to piss off fans for some reason. Manitoba has no money and an NDP government. There will be no money in the future and residents are not going to be rich enough to make this franchise more valuable. It is what it is. But to blame fans as the reason why this franchise will need to move is dumb. They are giving what they have.
I live in Australia and there was no way would I be supporting the USA in any sport. I was definitely supporting Finland yesterday and loved that the crowd was also supporting Finland.
