Per sources leafs main target is Laughton and ideally keep robo (probably Cowan or next years first and a sweetener will be what’s moved) if they can’t get Laughton likely pivot to bjugstad
Matthews is struggling in a key area besides scoring…and that is faceoffs. That will hurt in the playoffs.

Trading for Schenn will be a huge mistake. Giving up a blue chip prospect for a less skilled Tavares makes no sense to me. The only situation, in my opinion, that a trade for him is worth entertaining is if it's for Robertson + picks, and 25% retained salary on Schenn. We have Matthews and Nylander signed for the next 4 years, we cannot knee cap ourselves with his contact. Schenn has never been a point per game player, people are whingeing about Tavares resigned around his number.
Crazy game, but I’ll take the win. I’m glad they won, for sure. Rangers always play the Leafs tough, I’m always nervous about these games. Go Leafs!

LFR isn’t what it use to be! A year or two ago I could miss a game or the ending “because I was playing” and I’d know exactly what happen. Play by play, goal by goal. And at the end know the score and who won. Yes right away he told us leafs win and he does the victory puppy’s. ‘ that I love ‘ but as a leafs fan.. at this point I just watch because it’s tradition for me. But Steve.. you’ve become background noise at this point and it makes sense why only leaf’s fans watch unless you freak out!! You don’t have the sportsnet connection now as true fans know. You quit. But still please break down the games and tell us the highlights goal by goal. Show as many small clips and photos as you can and bring back the old LFR vibe. And intro
