  1. no playoffs for this team so that cele was justified. bro threw his stick into the crowd like it was a game 7 winner lmao

  2. Hutson is longer really strong for the Calder. It's been a while since the Calder was in Montreal…..Ken Dryden in 1972 was our last Rookie of the Year.

  3. About Xhekaj, I watched the press conference after the game and Marty was asked about him. He explained that while he thought it wasn't Arber's best game, he did not want to bench him, but the back to back powerplays messed with the lines' rotations and at that point Xhekaj had not been on the ice for a long time and Marty didn't want to set him up to fail by playing him after sitting for that long in a tied late game effort. If you want the postgame video from last night it's the last question he answers around 28m in, the answer is in French though.

  4. He puts his right skate forward, trapping Cellerini's stick, moves the puck to his left between his legs, then shifts to his forehand as if he was going around, while the goalie starts moving to his left, in the space of an old phone booth he flicks it top shelf above the shoulder so damned fast that after the goal, you can clearly see by the goalie's body language that he has no clue where the puck is or what just happened…

    That was AMAZING.

  5. It was tree to two, going into the turd. I had to do a rewind to catch the between the legs pass. A solid goal of the year candidate.

  6. People still need to give those young players time to find their NHL game. Some of them still might only make it to Laval time will tell.

  7. Celebrini won't let this happen again. He will learn from this and take it to heart. This kid will score 100 points next season. You could see it in his eyes, this moment will change him into a man next season.

  8. I can't explain it, but Emil Heineman gets injured (by a car, no less), and the Habs start to lose. Then Heineman comes back and the Habs start to win again. I mean, what gives? It's gotta be a coincidence, right?

  9. The RDS broadcast spoke about Kent Hughes coaching Will Smith during the 2021-2022 Boston Eagles season which I didn't know about.
This fact, along with the fact that Carey Price messed up Reinbacher's name, definitely means the Canadiens expected to draft Will Smith in 2023.
Such a damn shame. Will Smith looked so good.

  10. The CC goal was nice, but having to go to OT to beat the sharks who were on a 6 game skid… meh
