Brilliant podcast. Hodge a real star. I remember the first time he sat on a 999 was in Caldwell Park at Moto Italia tent was a new 999 on display in a trade tent. Colin Edwardโs also sat on the new 999 I rang my wife and said Iโm in love with the new 999 and booked a test ride for Monday and bought one after the test ride such great memories. This Hodge podcast is you4 best by far. Great job.
Brands Hatch beating WSBK Guys on the Orange GSE Ducati 120k crowd Behind Neil
One the best 3hrs I've listened too. What an absolute LEGEND Neil is. Proper weird hearing him swearing tho ๐๐๐. GREAT interview.
Wonderful show, things we didn't know we now know ๐
Two of my favourite people. Cracking this โค
Great chat
Great rapport, very evident even on audio, pleased Neil's still got the gig, thank you ๐๐
Iโve been sneaking in half hours here and there today, Dave thank you for this , hodgey your a legend on the track and on the ๐ค. Hope we get to see you Ride the s1000rr again this year at the GP
What a great interview Dave, Hodgy comes across absolutely brilliantly, as said before, a cracking 3 hours ๐๐๐
His grid walk interviews with Cal Crutchlow were always worth watching!
Fantastic Dave ๐ love both you guys, and you bounce off each other really well so it's probably my favourite to date. Looking forward to seeing Neil and the gang at the weekend ๐
Thanks Dave, another brilliant interviewโฆlove hodge and I purposely watch MotoGP free practice because of the gossip
This has it all, wow! What a ride๐
Interesting the different views promoted between Neil and during your recent Keith Huewen interview on all things relating to BT/TNT MotoGP.
Great interview, love Hodgy what a cool guy
Great watch as per so much fun listening to Neil top guy and that was some clatering he took with his shoulder jeez that sounded bloody awful and to push himself to ride to soon after just tells you how different these guys are who need to win brilliant .๐
Going down pit lane on a 500,โ I donโt know what Iโm doingโ. ๐๐๐
Enjoying this, didn't know he was from Burnley.
John McGuiness soon? ๐
"1993 – 20 years ago". Blimey, didn't pass the maths test then!
59:00 Listen to one of my all time heroes, Ayrton Senna talk about his Monaco quali lap in I think 88 where he was nearly 2 seconds ahead of the field, including brilliant team mate Prost. It's a fascinating bit of footage. He talks about being above himself in the cockpit able to see every tenth of a second like it was a second etc. etc. I could have listened to the guy talk for ages….in his third or 4th language…bit like Neil ๐.
My big memory of Neil winning WSB title in 0
My first time watching this channel and I completely loved it. How nice and interesting was Hodgy. An absolute pleasure to watch ๐
Saw him giving his leathers away to a fan in assen…long time ago
One of the best โฆ. What a legend
Greetings from a very hot north east Victoria, in Australia Dave. What a blinder of an interview!! When I say interview, more like two old mates sitting down the local chatting about the old days and that, is why this format works. Great stuff!!!
What I said about Neil on twitter is exactly how he explained himself heโs brilliant and explains the emotion and feeling of being a motorcycle racer which is why I think heโs the best pundit on tnt
Although Iโve watched this over a couple of days this was the best interview you have done brilliant and very entertaining whet a guy top bloke๐
Another epic listen ๐
Enjoyed that, legend ! donโt think Neil got a chance to tell the Ben Spies story ๐
Another great one Dave. Loved Neil's talk about those track rides ๐ and the "No apexes were harmed in this track ride" ๐
Still giggling hours after watching this top man Dave. Neil is a legend in my eyes been cheering for him all of his career just great ๐๐๐
Best one yet ๐๐ป
What a fantastic 3 hours! Highlight for me was his admiration of James Whitham. I think Whit is our most underrated National Treasure! Brilliant show Dave, dovetailed quite nicely after the Keith Huewen show. Looking forward to Steve Plater!
Brilliant would like to see hodgson to some sit down talks with the moro gp boys like perry does
Neil saw you in donnington 95 on the ROC seriously quick down craner and old hairpin… one of the quickest we reckoned ๐๐๐
Absolutely creasing at Neil describing the track guide onboards ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Really enjoyed listening to Neil. You can't beat getting the inside stories, Very cool guy and funny
What an engaging, entertaining and insightful bloke. Iโve always had a high opinion of Neil, great rider and brilliant commentator (I love the whole TNT Sports team lineup; best ever MotoGP commentary team IMO), but this fascinating interview just cemented that opinion for me. By the way I TOTALLY agree with Neil on the whole MM93 thing, I was (am) a HUGE VR46 fanboy, but I am also a MASSIVE MM93 fan. Why wouldnโt I be? I love MotoGP and am I awe of what riders like Marc are able to do. I look forward to catching up with the James Hayden episode after what Neil said about him๐
Listen to the podcasts, just wanted to say how great these are in general, but Hodgy tells it like it is and you gotta love him for it.
Great great interview.. I've only just found your podcast, so now having to go back and listen to them all.. Thank you!
Top Bloke ๐๐
Brilliant podcast again love hearing Neil's side of his fantastic career.
I was there at Langbaugh when he turned up on his 125 wearing a MX helmet …class
Another superb poddy Dave.
As always it's so natural, relaxed, funny & informative.
You make it feel like we are all sitting around the same table.
Thank you.
I always had respect for Neil but what a top bloke, so open and honest.
