Fact or Fiction: Jets will set the NHL consecutive wins record?

The Jets are in reaching distance of the NHL’s all-time consecutive wins record, needing just six more victories to tie the milestone set by the 1992-93 Penguins. Domino’s That’s Hockey examines Winnipeg’s upcoming schedule to discuss whether the team can break the record.

  1. Total lack of coverage from the Toronto sports Network and this is what they come up with? Sounds like Maple Leafs planning the Stanley Cup parade route when they win 2 games in a row

  2. Bottom pair right shot d man? We already have that in Colin Miller. We need a bottom pair left shot to replace Stanley.

  3. Came here to say they have no shot. Then I saw that schedule. I’ll give them a 50/50 chance of breaking it

    Edit: never mind

  4. Really stupid to talk about the win streak record like talking about a shutout in first intermission. They just commented that the second longest win streak in the west is 2 games so winning 6 is rediculously difficult not to mention every team targetting you to try to be the one to end your streak. Take one game at a time and don't think about it until we are playing game 17. Now that the media is bringing up they have likely cursed the Jets and the win streak is more likely to end at 11 than go to 12 unfortunately similar to an announcer talking about a shutout with 5 minutes left.

  5. If they set a record great, it’s more important that they produce in the playoffs when it counts. I want to see this team and this city win the Stanley cup, setting a wins streak record or finishing first in the league won’t matter if the jets are on the golf course while someone else is fighting for the cup
