Lions fans we are gonna finish what we started . Remember the Red Wings and Pistons took steps to get their Championships . And watching our Lions they are doing the same thing steps .each year we will go further if not a Superbowl this next year it will come with in 2 years . You're not even really bringing up the main reason why. It's less about next year and more about him playing on a position. He is used to playing the mike. Making the calls scanning the defense and playing off of that. He's been playing out of position playing wherever they want to put him and his production has suffered. When Alex was hurt, it's no mistake he played his best football back at the mike. For those couple games he was one of the top rated linebackers in the league because he's playing where we drafted in the play and it's not just me, saying that The head coach and defensive coordinator said that exact thing
For those who doubt his ability in pass coverage keep this in mind as well… Jack Da Rippa played at Iowa going against mostly Neolithic passing offenses.
It should come as no suprise there will be a learning curve moving to the NFL in that regard. His athletic testing and interview results should alleviate any doubt that this dude will be a Top 5 LB very soon!

Agreed. People forget that these guys are rookies. Jack Campbell improved as the season went on and I only expect more of that in 2024
