Where all the dach fans that were coping he just needs time? gfto cope harder boys and keeping making excusing on giving up a #1 D hoping that Guhle or Dach could play a full season. wake the fuck up.
Dach looks to be injury prone, now. Another knee injury (surgery?), done for the year. It's going to be hard to re-up him next year unless he plays huge. Chicago moved off him, Habs will have to as well if he doesn't start next season with a bang. He's been given enough chances, good thing kids are coming through the system.
Mtl have no choice but sign a contract with Evens he is in mtl since his begining he wants to play in Mtl so 5 years contract but not 4 millions ayear..

I see eventual 3rd line center for beck, bur for the rest of this season I think Evans (if the Habs keep winning until the deadline I don't see Evans traded) should moves up to the 2nd line center, his skill for stripping pucks off opponents would benefit Laine and Newhook. And a more sheltered 4th line for the next twenty something games could give Beck time to develop chemistry with Heinemann to be the third line pairing next year (unless Kapanen shows more than Beck 🤷♂) GO HABS GO!
Keep Evans! along with our Postman, J Armia they make a valuable duo! Habs are 29 th! in Goals against– why weaken the team in that area?

Dach plays like old Joel Armia before he got sent down . But worse. He’s always injured
Hopefully the habs will trade Evans and Armia soon. We need to move forward and I'm just tired of all the trade talk. They are not pay off the future anyway
Dach will never be a regular again , I said it after his injury last year , no athlete has ever came back better or even at the same level after such injury
Minnesota needs Evans more than anyone else their PK is the only knock on their team as of right now. They also have the most to offer us in terms of prospects

I think this is good for both teams
Evans , Armia, montembault and Savard to Edmonton for Kane , Jeff skinner , a 1st and Matthew Savoie , this works cap wise . Edmonton wins the cup with this trade, Montreal aquire a late 1st , another prospect at center and Kane who only has one year left but he’s a lefty and bring physicality the habs need
Edmonton aquire two of the best penalty killers in the league they aquire a better goalie and depth on the right side with Savard who has won a cup
I truly believe this trade is great for both teams and zero comitment for either teams

I would love to trade Dach and a 1st and something else for Crosby. With Dach injured again. Habs will probably have to add at least a 2nd rounder to it at the very least. If they want Newhook, we could throw him in too.

You guys are absolutely clueless if you don't think Armia has a lot of value for the Montreal Canadians you cannot replace his size his strength his board battles his talent and you'll be able to sign them cheaper like most of the YouTubers have no clue
Okay it's time to make the move. Kent go get Crosby. We have two first round draft picks to offer. We don't need more pick. Crosby will help our young players over the next three years. We have the cap space, so just go out and do it. The fans and players on this team deserve him. Goddammit, Marty deserve him. The Habs make the playoffs this year if he gets Crosby. Demidov will explode if Crosby is his center and Crosby deserves a winger like Demidov. So Kent just do it please.

The habs need another talented center before demidov gets here , it’s been 30 years , haven’t we waited long enough for quality centers? The habs are about to lose Evans , dvorak and Dach is done , they need someone now or that rebuilt will take another 10 years 🤦♂ not a single left handed center in the entire organization 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂ but hugues let’s go of Monaghan and keeps acquiring wingers 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂ he also pays 1st and 2nd rounders for newhook and Dach but demands a 2nd for Evans as 4 mil is too expensive while he has Laine , Gallgher and Anderson on the payroll🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂ anyone else sees something wrong with this?

Dach will never ever ever ever become an effective Center in the NHL. This is very obvious. His faceoff % is so bad there is no way in hell he gets it near 50% ever. Come on. I blame Montreal management for keeping him in that role this long. Sure they have Newhook taking most of the faceoffs with is poor ability too and this is why we are not in a playoff position. Dach is a winger and every game he is being used at center is not helping him or his line or his team.

Dach's injury is so disappointing for him and the club but it clears bench space and cap room for a move for a better 2nd C. I expect a move sooner rather than later. Thanks guys.
