  1. Ugh after winning 2 games that felt like wins "but how" then, lost like our entire D corp to injury uggggh. You guys have a fun podcast though

  2. i do agree wth Brooks on the deadline deals If they need to deal RYAN L then get a decent player or 2nd rd pick , unless the team plays way better than most of that Pitt game ( won mostly by SHESTY). I dont see this team winning enuff games to reach say 88-90 points, and that still may not be good to qualify for playoffs

  3. Loved4 nation tournament
Ranges cannot continue to play up and down the boards, just shoot the puck in time after time and the defense must challenge the puck carriers instead of backing up. Also, need to start forechecking or they're done

  4. Adam definitely needs a long cruel summer. Where he's doing two a days and getting his legs back in shape where they need to be, instead of skating up the ice like he's wearing a diaper full of cement.

  5. I understand you make your bed with the Rangers and to be hypercritical of them is a tall task. Especially to be critical of the guy cutting the checks.
    Drury is a buffoon.
There is no other way to cut the thick BS sandwich.
Take the Buch trade, take the Nemeth and Reevo signings and trades off the team, take all the TDL deals that never resulted in anything past pure rentals for significant assets going the other way. Something like 23 total picks. Ramsey getting canned. Mika's bulletproof extension. Igor's ballooned extension this season. The Lafreniere extension and lack of any positive production after it. Add to the fact majority of this team the last 3 years has essentially been Jeff Gorton players and Drury's Trocheck.
Drury needs to be replaced as GM. Plain and simple. If he can handle Dolan than leave him as President of hockey operations. But the Rangers need a real GM. With a real plan and proper eyes for talent. Not a guy who is going to keep hiring people from USA national team or ex-Ranger players.
Do a little research…see if Shane Churla will leave Florida for more money. The guy finds great players every draft in the muskiest of waters. Don't need a guy whose only claim is he drafted Austin Matthews 1st overall. Mark Yannetti has a nice resume out in LA. Hire people who are the best.
We have 1 of the wealthiest teams in the league yet our staff is all 3rd rate at best. No more Tanner Glass, Paul Mara, Jed Ortmeyer. Get some quality people to run this team.

  6. It was a huge win for Canada…..our country needed that! We were so proud of our boys! Hopefully Rangers make postseason and cause some damage without sacrificing any future assets, of course….as usual , well done Larry, Molly and Brian!
    Larry,

  7. The thing that's most baffling to me and many of my Ranger fan friends is how is it that a team who won the President's Trophy and went as far as it did last year has so many players whose games have fallen so far in less than a year.

  8. Guys you sound like the Rangers play Boring. No life. No one is hitting. No fighting. No standing up. How come you guys don’t mention what a oussy Fox is for not standing up for his 5 year linemate who has beat himself up standing up for Fox. They should trade Fox. If they can. Oussy! Yeah most minutes blah blah blah… reality. bTW did you see him in the National. Nuff said. Get a spark maybe more people will listen.

  9. 4 Nations was simply the best hockey I have seen in many years. Canada deserved it and USA gave it their all. Eichel, Slavin, Tkachuk's — hooorah! And agree with Larry on trade deadline decisions and underwhelming play of Fox, Panarin and Lafreniere. Would have loved some more povs on Rangers 4th line play vs Islanders — especially Rempe; and any insight into the alleged issue between Kreider and Laviolette at practice?

  10. Rangers have to get Brady Tkachuk and Olivier from the CBJ. This should be their main agenda either this summer or in 3 years when Brady is unrestricted. But why wait ! Drury has to find a way to bring him to Broadway now where he belongs being Captain of an American team and an Original Six team. Olivier on the CBJ is unrestricted this summer and the Rangers need him as well.

  11. So when does Brady Tkachuk request to play in the States? Get Brady to NYR. Rangers need that type of culture change. Too finesse soft passive ghosts don’t succeed in the playoffs. Teams don’t win with Panarin and Mika as your hope for the playoffs. Hope JT Miller is a type of that culture change the Rangers need.

  12. The Rangers are not going anywhere this year, next year or the year after that with Mika, Kreider, Lafreniere, Lindgren, K Miller, Fox, Panarin. Might as well start with trading Mika, Kreider, Lindgren and K Miller to give the team a boost to make this years playoffs. The Rangers will get in the playoffs if they trade those four and replace them with hard working players who have an insatiable need to win.

  13. Respect all the opinions here. Trade deadline 1 week away. Rangers have 4 tough games to play- all at MSG. We will know the right things to do by next Wednesday.

  14. They gotta sell. All FAs try to move Mika & or Kreids in offseason. Trade Panarin next deadline. They need a serious revamp.

  15. Can’t help thinking about Jeff Gorton who had the inevitable task of de-constructing a team with a lunch pail mentality that lost to a hot team in the Stanley Cup Finals.
    Gone within a couple seasons:
    Lias Andersson
    Nils Lundqvist
    V. Kravstov

    Gone after 5-6 yrs:
    Filip Chytil
    Kaap Kakko

    Next:
    Ryan Lindgren

At this point is Alexis Lafreniere safe?

  16. Peter needs to step down…..defense coach needs to be fired….top six need to play hard physical hockey…..the defense sucks big time…..trade fox…..miller….for stronger and tougher defense…..defense that won't back in…..
