Dang 😬 I didn’t think it would be close after dominating the first period. Thankfully, we still won though, loved having Barbashev and Kolesar having a 2 goal night. They need to put samsonov on waivers , bring in akira schmid , he’s a stronger young goalie with more skill in my opinion, don’t get me wrong some saves ilya makes are good but games are few and far between!
Everyone thinks they can be great in this team, that's the problem with the Hawks. Bedard is "hardcore" in a sophomore slump. Jones has things to say about the team not building anything. Mikheyev is better than Bedard right now and gets bottom 6 minutes with terrible linemates. Maroon needs to go, we gained nothing from that trade. He had a hot streak for 3 weeks then turned into, "retirement is necessary.", which is now. Yes Mrazek is good, but he'd be great with better defense. Time and time again since Crawford. We destroy a Goalie for three years, then raspberries being blown ensue. And you dump the goalie. I guarantee Mrazek is gone in the summer and we draft a bust of a goalie too.
