Eichel doing an experimental procedure at that time was way too risky for my blood. The Wild were getting ready to button up against the salary cap and this would have been an extreme gamble. With the Wild’s luck on injuries, I’m sure he would have been out long term. I saw an interview with Faber, says he loves the ice time. Man I hope he continues to be an ice hog, plays at such a high level – amazing. No Ek long term, can’t make it up…
