Itās a responce to a Big hit. Thatās all that matters, whether itās a big cheap-shot or a big clean hit is irrelevant. Lowry is responding to protect his team and let the opponents know theyāre not going to take those lying down.
This is the kind of stupidity that needs to be gone from the game. Attacking a player for a good hit is just bullying. A cheap shot deserves a response, but those often result in suspension for the victim of the cheap shot. Then they constantly allow this kind of goonery. I enjoy seeing a good scrap, but this isnāt the same thing.
I like guys stepping in and fighting after big hits, but when itās a clean good hit, then there should be an instigator. But itās the NHL, lack of consistency is consistent š¤·š¼āāļø
Great clean hit. So obviously there needs to be a little bitch fit about it. Can't wait for playoff hockey when we can have big hits without dumb fights. Fights can be awesome, but this sort of thing is pointless.

Adam Lowry is the quintessential team Captain. He isn't the most skilled player on the team but he is the best player and leader on the team.
