The Buffalo Sabres earned their sixth straight home win on February 25, 2025 with a third period comeback against the Anaheim Ducks. The Sabres were down 2-0 heading into the third frame, but cut their opponents lead in half with a goal by JJ Peterka two minutes in. Dylan Cozens teased a shot attempt before passing to Peterka for the assist. Cozens also assisted on the following goal by Alex Tuch, who wrapped around to complete an initial shot attempt. Henri Jokiharju had the game-winning goal midway through the third period. The defenseman has had goals in back-to-back games. Jokiharju carried the puck to the bottom of the right circle and sniped a beauty of a shot to the top corner behind the shoulder of Anaheim’s Lukas Dostal.

I was at that game yesterday!! It was sluggish in 2 periods with lots of shots and didn't get to score yet, Glad I came to the Labatt Blue Zone Bar and met Tony McKegney in the autograph signing session! I got my jersey signed by him! I heard lots of Sabres fans worrying about how terrible we are and didn't show off, and I told my brother, his friend and the people around me to calm down and we will come back! I gave them my mom and my words of how to have faith in the team! "Slow Start Comes To A Strong Finish" and see what happened in the 3rd period?! We fought through and came back to erase the 2-0 deficit and what an outstanding job to score 3 unanswered goals and Jokiharju the 2nd career game winning goal since Saturday, February 17th 2024 3-2 in OT on the Wild at Xcel Energy Center!! Perfect home wins in a month again since November 2018!! February is the best month of the year!! Keep rolling and buzzing to push off u guys!!
