I miss the Norris / Pinto short-handed goals the most.
I looked at the caption “not time to panic.” Excuse me lol but the Sens, over their past 5 games, have:
– allowed at least four goals in each
– scored no more than 2 goals/game following their 4-3 loss in regulation to the Bolts
– following that very loss that I described in my previous bullet point, lost each game by at least two goals
– gone from having climbed into a playoff spot to having tumbled right out of one, in yet another season during which making the postseason will make this season a success
Kleven shouldn't have fought there. He lost the momentum gained from that hit by losing the fight, could've drawn a penalty out of Lowry and he also ended up leaving the game.
We have a favorable schedule for the rest of the season, but they need a better effort than what we saw last night for that to matter
Linus is back. Gonna go on a run once we get healthy.
Staios needs to start ridding the loose ends, like David Perron, Michael Armadio, Travis Hamonic, and get some cap space to set up to help the top 6. I was impressed with Crookshank and honestly the callups that helped with the bottom 6. Staios can't stay pat. Honestly the Jets did not play a good game and it was very winnable game, and Timmy was responsible for 2 goals. He needs to keep it simple and start firing that puck. There's been too many games Timmy had no shots.
Either Detroit or Columbus will gain 2 points on the Sens tonight.
I noticed early on that all the shots from the Senators were trying to shoot high
Sorry boys but it really is time to panic!
Fully agree. Panic is when Staios does nothing at the deadline (Neither seller nor buyer), then on March 9, they shut down the 3 Americans for the year.
Solid!
Conspiracy theory here, anyone else notice that all 3 players holding out on injuries are American, are they forcing a trade??? Just wondering??? Hey Ross how was your hat trick kid Batherson last night…. Are we trading him for a power forward yet???
Stutzle is so irresponsible with the puck. When will he learn?
You guys are way to happy after a 5 game losing streak.
I don't understand not pulling Ullmark for that last PP.
lmao at Ross looking at his 5 dang fingers in the air counting the losses
It might be time to panic
WE need Brady? Brady was there for the first 3 loses of this streak.
You guys keep saying its all fine. Like no its not, a team should not have to only rely on 3 players to win a damn game
So many passengers on this team and the city is just used to mediocracy.
Ostapchuk scored one goal in 43 games and people were raving about him. Giroux is just here for the vibes at this point and people want to give him $4 million next year.
This team a savage overhaul.
Currently sitting in Chicago Airport flying home from the game last night. 0-2 on the year boots on the ground. Ottawa was nice though.
