Garland, my short feathered friend, you've done it again! He's quickly becoming my favorite player. I've met him and he's like 5'6". I'm 5'8" and he was a bit shorter than me. I played NCAA hockey and I know how tough it is to be a small guy amongst bears. He's even smaller than me, playing at a higher level, and making it look easy. And a class act. He often walks to practice through downtown Vancouver from his condo and is always super friendly. At least he was when I met him.
I noticed that the Canucks 11.6 million dollar man, EP40, had a shot on goal tonight…isn't he the center of the top line? One shot???
