  1. So is this just an ego thing with these guys or what … i mean really … is 5 years at 8 mill per that bad … do you really need the extra 2 or 3 years at 8 mill? I think it shows a player that doesn't care if they stick around in Van and if they have to, they want to maximize their profit. A player that believes in the club and system is going to give up a couple of bucks to stick around. Lets' face it, Boeser is only as good as his line mates, he is not a play maker and he is not particularly quick skating. He relys on good players feeding him because he has a knack for getting in the open. He will never score 40 goals again in a season unless Van gets a high calibre player to play with him. Pettersen for Bedard, straight across, bring Bedard back home and he will light up the net here in Van. Van has way too many swedes, thin them out for good old north american players.

  2. its insane that NHL players who've never had (even close to) more points than games played in their whole career are now commanding 9million $ salaries (long-term) ! WTF, he's not that good..just let him go
(one 40 goal season, ok great…everything else was less than 30 goal seasons, mostly less than 25

  3. My sense and l could be wrong is he's done in Vancouver.
He wants to go stateside., if he was really interested in staying a Canuck wouldn't he have made that clear like before? Yeah, he wants out…

  4. @Sekeres&Price I'm done guys. Good luck to you both but no more canucks media for me. I hope Petey gets traded to a team with wingers who can pass and is given time to get his confidence back without JT. He'll score 100+ again and you guys will make some BS about how its not the teams fault.

More so I hate this fan base. We're bottom tier and I'll cheer despite you all.

  5. As you approach 10K subs… Please fix your video template! Having a wider gap between Mat and "Guest"'s video capture than that between "Guest" and Blake's video capture is honestly annoying and at this point kinda unprofessional! The content is great when I am in the mood for Americanesque drama but please fix the visuals.

  6. F most of this team for playing like trash and still expecting the money to fall on them. If they weren't so useless we'd trade them for real men.

  7. This whole conversation about lack of goal production ends up centred around Elias Petterson 40, and some people continuing to believe that "he's going to turn it around". Sorry, it ain't going to happen this season. Best solution is for Canucks to cancel his $11.6 million contract —- and Petterson should agree with this, to be honest about it —- and put him back to a regular contract around $6 — 7 million like the other guys. Then he can try and come back and prove to the hockey world that he really is a genuine franchise superstar and worth the big money. Give him a bonus incentive if he succeeds, but enough with this $11.6 million crap. Otherwise, if Canucks keep him and next season is a total bust like this one has been — the criticism and the fan resentment is going to be 10 times worse than it is now.

  8. Disagree with Cam's take on the goalie situation. Lankinens signing is as a 1B and his new contract speaks to that. Demko is a 1A and that's all he is going to be able to command based on his injury history.

  9. If we’re trading more picks prospects to sneak into the playoffs and get booted first round I’ll never watch this team again. We’ve givin away and blown so many first rounders since 2011 it’s crazy 15 year rebuild we’re not even close
